I have a hiatal hernia and he told me that at my age (66) that there was nothing to be done and that I will live with pain like that for the rest of my life. I saw another doctor and he said no you can be operate. So for him if you are over 60 your done. I would not see him again.

I have had an inguinal hernia, and dr. Eric Bigelow has performed the surgery, but I felt worse after the surgery than before. He didn't even say what procedure he has applied, and I had lots of problems in getting my post surgery report. A few months after the surgery I have been ABANDONED by this doctor, telling me that "the surgery was a success but you will remain with pain". A very "professional" one! In the end, after seeing other surgeons and specialists that have refused to take me as their patient and redo the surgery, probably being afraid of possible legal actions against them or something like that, so I went to Europe and had the surgery performed in the right way. I developed a tumor after the first surgery, due to the mesh that Dr. Bigelow has put inside my body. Now I got back my health, but it did cost me years of sufferance and 10000 CAD (price for reintervention plus transportation and other collateral expenses. Excellent médecin! Le Dr. Bigelow est un chirurgien exceptionnel. Il est comptétent, dévoué et professionnel. Son départ en Ontario est une perte énorme pour l'Outaouais.

Aa excellent surgeon. Not always on time but not his fault. He has emergencies, operated clients that need to see him after operation. Very understanding and honest about your problem also listens

Je me fais suivre par un oncologue et par mon chirurgien, le Dr Bigelow, pour un cancer. C'est grâce au Dr Bigelow que je suis bien renseignée sur ma maladie. Il ne cache rien et m' permis d'avoir une copie des rapports médicaux. Contrairement à beaucoup de médecins, il ne se vexe pas si on n'est pas d'accord avec lui. Il m'a même référée de lui-même à un autre spécialiste, à Montréal, pour que j'obtienne un deuxième avis. J'ai pleine confiance en lui, ce qui, à mon avis, est primordial dans la relation médecin-patient.

Dr. Bigelow est une très bon chirurgien. J'ai été opéré deux fois par lui et dans mon cas il a fait des miracles. Il est très à l'écoute et connait bien de quoi il parle. Un gros merci docteur!!!
