He was very concerned asked me all the right questions to find out what was wrong took care of it I give him a lot of credit he's a great doctor and he cares about his patients

I have been going to Dr. Alexander since I was a teenager and have always been impressed with how good of a listener he is. He doesn’t rush into and out of the room and on to the next patient. He sits down and asks you questions and listens to you and waits for you to answer. Then he examines you and then he sits down again and he talks to you while he typed up his notes in his laptop. This gives you time to remember things that you wanted to ask him or to tell him about.

I Love the doctor but I have a problem with a person on the staff. I want I to have blood taken and was waiting when I saw the person who takes the blood standing around taking and laughing with other staff members. So I got up to ask how long it may be before I got the blood work done. When I was called back a couple of minutes later I was told that I was rude by this person. Me rude for asking when she was standing around talking and laughing. Who is rude. Me asking or her not doing her job ?

Dr Alexander has been my family dr for over 20 years. I can't imagine going anywhere else. He cares like a friend- not just a patient/dr relationship. I am sure he will make mistakes, but if he cares about me as a person, I know he will do everything possible to keep me safe and healthy. He will imediately send me to a specialist if he feels I would get better results and doesn't have the mentality that he is "all knowing"! I love knowing that I am not just a patient on paper- but a real person to him. And there are times I have had to wait, but that's what happens when a dr really cares! He will take the time you need. He's not a 1-2 minute appointment dr. He has many patients that he cares for --just like he cares for me. And if they need extra attention, he will give it to them and it may get him behind a bit. I have personally sat in other specialist Drs offices waiting for my appt a whole lot longer than I've ever waited in his! I just love dr Alexander and feel privileged to have him as my physician.

the office staff will be talking to each other and laughing and not answer the phone which is why it takes a long time of calling to get an appt. then you wait at least an hour past your appt time. the office staff couldnt care less about problems you have with how they filed your insurance. they just say oh well they pay so you have to. not going back there.
