Wow, seeing all the bad reviews on different websites has validated my terrible experience of seeing her over 20 years ago for several visits. I am very thankful that I decided to stop seeing her after only 3 visits. I had confidence enough to recognize inappropriate statements. In one session she stated to my face that I was the most neurotic person that she had ever met. After another session we crossed paths in the restroom. She entered the restroom with a man wish I was at the sink. Naturally, it surprised me when I saw him. She asked me at my next session if I had a problem with men. I said no and asked why she asked and told me I seemed nervous when I saw in the restroom with her male friend. Again, we just crossed paths in the restroom and there was no conversation. Since I believed her to be a quack, I did not see her again and asked her to let me know the diagnosis she submitted. I looked it up and was surprised. She misdiagnosed me. I found another counselor years later who gave very good therapy sessions. I did not take medication then and do not now. Her diagnosis was not only wrong but harmful to my self-confidence. In the three therapy sessions she offered no constructive help. She spent most of the time silent. I highly recommend seeing another doctor. She may do more harm than good. Thank for sharing these bad reviews. This has been healing to me to read them. If I could give her a negative star, I would.

Beware of this Doctor. She misdiagnosed me and was tried to force me to take medications. She is unprofessional and very rude. DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR.

Beware this is the worse psychriatrist ever. Wrong diagnosis, pushes drugs, doesn't listen, rude, incompetent. BEWARE!!!

I'm very unhappy she's constantly late. She fell asleep during 1 of our sessions I also felt rushed in n out of her office she doesn't even give you a receipt for your copayment. Her diagnosis was completely wrong and the medicine she gave me highly addictive she is no longer in network with blue cross blue shield. Her billing practices are at best frustrating. Her office is smelly and dirty just stay away is my vice. Her bedside manner is cold and calculating. She leaves her door wide open with files exposed for anybody to see and less you make an appointment she doesn't want to hear anything you have to say. I will be complaining to the Medical Board about her

I was shocked, she talked about her other patients during our session. As I do not wish to be talked about to strangers I will not see this so called "doctor" again

I like Dr. Urban very much. She's proven to be a no-nonsense psychiatrist who is very interested in obtaining optimum results quickly.
