A few years ago, I had acute appendicitis. I was operated urgently by Dr. Wassef. The first sign of this appendicitis was a liquid flowing in my abdomen when I went to sleep. Dr. Wassef denied that my appendicitis had burst! But that's trivial compared to a hernia I developed thanks to his surgery. After a lot of complications from the surgery (infection, fainting from prescribed morphine, open wound), I had the prescribed appointment with him, but his assistant announced that I could not see him as he was very busy. He was going on vacation the next day. No, I would not go back to him tp get my hernia repaired.

Surgery type: Open direct inguinal hernia repair with mesh.

Dr. Wassef is knowledgeable, friendly and good at providing clear explanations and answers to questions. The result and recovery of my operation has been positive and I am looking forward to going back to living a more active lifestyle. I am extraordinary grateful for this as it has a direct impact to improving my quality of life. I only learned once I was on the operating table and while the operation was underway that Dr. Wassef was supervising other doctors completing my surgery. Dr. Alexandre Dapaiult and Dr. Michelle Barnier. I would suggest asking Dr. Wassef whether or not he will be performing the surgery himself in order to make a fully informed decision.

O.K. je dois me rétracter maintenant…..
J'ai eu l'honneur d'avoir un appel de Dr.Ramses lui-même ,hier soit le 25 juillet , qui voulait me voir suite a des plaintes de ma part…. Je dois dire que j'étais extrêmement surpris de lui parler et très heureux de ce changement. Dr.Ramses a été très compréhensif et m'a expliqué TOUT et je suis très content de l'avoir vu et il semblait pas très heureux de la réponse des personnes travaillant a l'hôpital me disant qu"il n'y avait rien faire et endurer mon mal..

J'ai vu Dr. Ramses mardi le 5 juillet pour faire mettre un élastique a un Hémorroïde interne .
Un spécialiste en formation a tout pris mes infos et a mis lui-même le-dit élastique.
Apres 10 minutes ,j'ai enfin vu Dr. Ramses . L'interne lui a tout expliqué mais le Dr. Ramses n'a même pas regardé. Même si j'ai mentionné que l'hémorroïde interne étais a gauche en bas , l'"interne m'a dit qu'il était a droite au milieu. Je ne l'ai pas obstiné car c'est lui le pro même si c'est moi qui ait mal….10 jours plus tard j'essaie de revoir le FAMEUX DR. Ramses ,mais on me dit a l'hôpital que je ne pouvais le voir , que v'était normal de saigner 9 jours plus tard , que c'est normal que j'en ai un a l'extérieur sorti depuis qui a au moins 1 pouce de long et 2 autres plus petits et que ce serait mieux d'aller en privé..

Excellent médecin, il est dévoué et à l'écoute de ses patients. Je rejoins les autres commentaires, on en voudrait beaucoup des médecins comme le dr Wassef. C'est grâce à des médecins comme lui que l'on reprend confiance aux soins de santé au Québec!

A year and half ago (Oct. 2012), I was fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Wassef. He has changed my life and thank him from the bottom of my heart for what he has accomplished. I was referred to him from one of my colleague at work as a second opinion and do not regret at all for having chosen him. From a permanent ostomy, it ended up to be a temporary iliostomy. Dr Wassef is a self conscientious human being with remarkable experience. He is surrounded by very experience team. He takes all the time in the world to explain and answer any questions to any concern you might have. Being of a calm nature and his savoir faire gave me positive vibes to give him carte blanche on my case. As a result, everything worked well.
