I called everyday for about two weeks, and all I heard in those two weeks was "We don't have time to schedule right now" and "We'll call you on this day." Never getting a call. Finally after I called for the last time, I got scheduled and when asked if I could be faxed my paper work getting "well that would just make my life harder." His staff of a joke, and very rude.

I haven't seen the doctor yet but his scheduling staff is unreliable and rude! It took 2 weeks of calling after being referred to finally get an appointment, never getting a call back. I can only pray that he is worth the wait. When you're sick and ask for something simple and the staff says that it would just make their life difficult it is obvious they have no compassion.

Dr. Henderson was quite knowledgeable in regards to a rather large tumor on my tongue, and surgery seemed to go without complications (to date). His bedside manner is somewhat serious and to the point, which I prefer over a condescending approach, and his staff seems to be friendly and attentive. Prior and post surgery appointments have been prompt, given it is a doctor's office, with no lengthy waiting times or other issues. I will return with confidence if I experienced any future ENT issues.

I went to the appointment for pre-opt surgery directions. I had my infant daughter with me because I was told that the appointment would only take 2 minutes. When I got there I waited in the waiting room for about 45 minutes and was then put into a room. By this point my daughter was getting tired and started to cry. For the next 45 minutes I waited in the room, all while my daughter screamed and cried. No one ever came in to see about me. I finally walked out of the waiting room and asked the receptionist if it was going to be much longer an that my 2 minute appointment had turned into 1.5 hours. I said if you need me to reschedule I could do that. This is when it got scary... I turned around after hearing a males voice, it was Dr. Henderson. I have never felt so scared it all my life. This man had a look that was so angry directed at me. He had me go in the room and when I walked by his body language was so threatening I actually flinched when I went by him. I thought he was going to hit me. Never in my life have I felt so belittled, scared and threatened. My infant daughter must have sensed my fear and my heart rate because she stopped crying immediately. This doctor could care less about me or my daughter and only made me feel worse for asking the question, how much longer will it be. I never did get any instructions, just a lecture about him having to hang up on a "very" important phone call to take care of me, his scheduled patient. I left his office and have decided that I do not trust this man to perform any surgery for fear that he would botch it up just to make a point that he is superior. He has the attitude that he is so much better and that I, the patient. is so beneath him. He is beyond unprofessional. He should not have a license to practice. I found this lady's post after my experience and felt I needed to post this too. I hope anyone else that has had dealings with him put it out there for all to see.

Dr is Very unprofessiona; when it came to treating my husband when he was in hospital. He did a biopsy on a cyst in his neck, ended up leaving him with a blood clot and an infection from it and went unnoticed for 3 weeks until he was sent to hospital with fever of 102.2. Was in hospital in our town for 3 days and Dr.Henderson is over an hr away. He refused treatment on him due to the dr going on vacation that Friday. He was being treated for the infection he got in the hospital and his surgery was rescheduled for Feb 26th. Went all the way to Montrose in a snow storm at 5am and then laid there for 2 hrs waiting to go back for surgery when Finally the nurses came back and said the dr was in another surgery and couldn't get ahold of him. HE then again refused surgery on him due to not being on his schedule. THEY scheduled it! He was them sent home. WILL not let this man touch him. 2nd time he has refused treatment. I have never heard of such a mess!!!
