I love Dr. Scurria! Now that she has a smaller practice she is able to spend time with her patients like she always has in the past AND now she is on time for her appointments. Her new staff is very friendly and eager to help. And she doesn't have the physician assistants there anymore so I actually get to see her. Now that Dr. Scurria has a "conierge" practice there is an annual membership fee, but the cost is well worth it to have a more personalized relationship a physician. I'm so glad she's my doctor!

Scurria is a great physician but her staff is awful. Rude and unintelligent. They have no idea how to answer a question knowledgably and with courtesy. And if you need your medication refilled be prepared to call the pharmacy, then the staff at her office, then the pharmacy again, then he staff again... Ad nauseam. Hopeless.

i do admit i had stopped going to her because of the lack of attentiveness i received from her PA's.. so i made sure i scheduled an appt. with her. I arrived and was treated very nicely, they asked throughout questions and encouraged me to relay any issues. I got a call two days later and then a week later as a follow up. She reffered me to see a specialist and when i didnt know which on she called me back recommending me one. Their communication with patients has greatly improved.

I'm VERY FRUSTRATED....have left three messages regarding a concerning matter and no one has cared to return my phone call. I am very disappointed and do not wish to go back to that office again, i'll be looking for another doctor!!!!

Dr Scurria is wonderful. I see her for well woman exams, but for other issues I usually see her PA's. Paul was really great and I am really sorry he left. What I really like about Dr. Scurria is that she is open to trying different treatments, meds, etc. She listens to my observations, and understands that I know my body, even though I have zip medical training. I never go to a health provider more than once who presumes to know more about my body than I do. Her PA's are are a little more rigid, but they do listen and are I believe concerned about providing good care. I try to schedule appts at odd times so I don't have to wait as long, but they don't rush the office visits, so I guess that's the trade off. I would definitely recommend her to friends and family.

I've been a pt. for several years (9). The only time I've seen Dr. Scurria was my first visit.

Unfortunately, Dr. Scurria's practice has greatly reduced in quality and service. I've been going to see her for 5+ years and my most recent visits were terrible. I was early for all my appointments but was kept waiting well over 45 minutes each time. I never saw Dr. Scurria but only her PAs who were rushed and uninterested in me as a patient, especially when asking questions. The support staff is even worse. Extremely bad business and communication skills. For example, they were eating food when talking to patients or when asked questions directly, they said they didn't know and not only didn't offer to seek out the answers but were visibly annoyed when they were requested to find information. I expect that type of customer service at fast food restaurants - not a doctor's office. They need serious training on what it is like to be a sick patient. I'm switching doctors and hope that Dr. Scurria's remaining patients do the same.

Dr. Scurria is a wonderful, patient doctor. So is Paul her PA. She can never go anywhere. A doctor like her is rare.

The medical assistants were nice but in my opinion, the female PA working under Dr. Scurria did not present satisfactory customer service skills at all. She was very late for my appointment, almost an hour. When I finally saw her she did not invite questions from me and seemed very much in a hurry. During our time together I lost confidence in her that she would be someone I would visit again. When I called back for my results to the blood test as advised Dr. Scurria or the female PA were never available and I left 3 messages with them in one day and they were still not able to return a call. This was a very nerve recking matter and they should find time, even a minute, to call patients back & acknowlege their existance. I left there with a bad experience and a frustating time afterwards trying to get an answer from their offices.
