Dr. Lessard performed a breast reduction on me about seven months ago. Her office seems extremely unorganized but they do seem like they are trying their best, had to call basically every single day for updates when I was told they would be calling me constantly. Dr Lessard was very kind to me and definitely extremely knowledgeable with a lot of experience and seems like she would be a decent teacher for her students. However she kept on telling me she was the only surgeon who performs this method for the surgery when my sister had the exact same method performed on her with much better results. In the end I am happy with how much smaller my breasts are however I would say esthetically they appear like it was botched. One breast is significantly larger than the other, my nipples are soo incredibly high up it’s unbelievable, almost no bra will naturally cover my nipples from how high up they are. There is also a little pocket formed at the bottom of my incision from where it seems that my excess skin was just stuffed in. She informed me over and over that the lateral method was much better than the anchor method but i would have much rather extra scaring for better/symmetrical appearance. I also woke up from my surgery with a MASSIVE goose egg on my head, and this was the most painful part of my recovery and was told I was not the first patient to complain about this. Husband was told the surgery would take about 4 hours and was in surgery for 8 hours with no explanation.

Overall okay experience because in the end I got smaller breasts and this was what I was needing, however I ultimately wish that went with someone else who pays more attention to their placement with nipples, the symmetry and just general regard for the final appearance.

doctor lessard is not only the best surgeon i’ve ever had but she’s also so passionate about her job and develops a relationship with her clients. i recently got a breast reduction with her in april 2023 using the vertical method with minimal scar (dr lessard is one of the few surgeons who have perfected this method) and i’ve never felt more confident in my own skin. prior to my surgery i was a little anxious but she reassured me that i will be extremely happy with the result and not to worry. she is very confident in her work and beyond knowledgeable in her field which made me feel comforted and in good hands. dr lessard truly changed my life and i cannot thank her enough. if you are thinking of getting a breast reduction and want to start a new chapter of your life then i strongly advise you to see dr lessard. my back problems are gone, my confidence is back and i feel like a new woman.

She did a plastic surgery on my thigh when I was a kid. My lymphatic system was cut, I woke up with drains all over. My physiotherapist explained to me what happened, said it’s a white vessel very hard to miss… She NEVER explained to me why I would have a swollen leg for the rest of my life. She wrote in her notes « patient is depressed because of her swollen foot » yet never acknowledged what happened. I don’t if she’s just really incompetent or incompetent and dishonest.

Dr. Lessard is a terrible person. She is mean and very cocky. She is knowledgeable in her field because of the number of years she has been a doctor, but she is definitely not the best. She accused me of not being on time and had her secretary tell me he will follow up, instead of just telling me herself that she no longer wanted me as a patient. She is not punctual and then accuses others of the very thing she is guilty of. I don't recommend her. I hope the new generation of doctors replace her quickly.

I had been seen by this doctor initially when I was a young teenager for a scar revision. I recently had an encounter with her where she accused me of not being punctual on more than one occasion. Recently, I noticed I attitude towards me had changed as she had cancelled on me on more than one occasion. I contacted the clinic and spoke to her secretary about it, he put her on the phone and she was extremely nasty towards me and again accused me of not being a punctual patient. I let her know" I don't have to return". She is not an honest doctor. I do not recommend her.

Dr lucie Lessard is a rude , mean bully and I would never recommend her . She is cocky , arrogant and above all she is a terrible person !

Went for a deviated septum. Said she would help me breathe again and make nose straight. Was not able to accomplish either of those problems. When I woke up from surgery all I remember her saying was opps it didnt work. I have had sinus problems ever since.

I was waiting to do my mammograms, and I start chatting with one lady, and I told her about what I went through, and that my Oncologist-surgeon will refer me soon to a plastic surgeon she said if you get an opportunity to see Dr.Lessard go for it, because she is an amazing doctor. Anyway I waited two weeks, and I received a call to get an appointment with a plastic surgeon (the lady give me a choice between two doctors), and doctor Lessard was one of them, so I couldn’t believe when I heard her name, so I told the lady that I am choosing Dr.Lessard. I am very happy with the decision I made. She is respectful ,kind, and listen to patients needs which is very important to me. I would never have thought one day I will have my normal breast back after cancer (had chemo, surgery, and radio) I had lost all hope. After meeting with Dr Lessard, I felt much better, and she took her time to explain to me in details what will she do at my surgery, also show me photos of before, and after and I was impressed with the results (like I will have breast much much nicer than my old ones). Dr. Lessard made everything so simply clear. She opened my eyes to a bright future, and hope. I am so thankful to the lady who recommended me to her. Not only is she the chief of plastic surgery at McGill and has the most impressive experience, she is also a nice and down to earth person. I also attend one of the Bra session she had in October, and I was very impressed it with her speech, and with the whole organization that was made. The most important thing Dr.Lessard respect my choice, and she gave me what I want (I asked for bigger size breast, and every time I go for injection, and request to go bigger she give it to me without any hesitation), and I am still going for Saline injection until I reach the size I want, and let me tell you so far I love my new breast (much nicer than before :) My personal experience with Dr. Lessard has only been positive, and her kindness and wonderful care gave me the courage to go through what I did. I will be forever thankful. She is truly a remarkable human being. Thank you so much Dr.Lessard :)

J`ai vue Dr Lucie Lessard le 27 avril 2017 qu`elle femme..et qu`elle professionalisme...Elle m`a mit tout de suite en confiance et savait clairement de quoi elle parlait...une femme droite avec du caractere qui sait ou elle s`en vas dans ses propos j`aurai une chirurgie dans les mois a venir et je suis en total confiance...Et que dire du staff qui travaille avec Dr lessard d`une gentillesse incroyable...A bientot
