This doctor almost killed me during an endoscopy. I stopped breathing as he used more sedative than than he should. I asked the nurse why was she rubbing my back? she is the one who told my, I stopped breathing. He said it was usual

Very good dr... no problem with feeling uncomfortable while he was touching my stomach etc. Not sure what the problem is with some negative reviews.... the only thing is getting an appointment. The secretary does not call back.

This doctor made me extremely uncomfortable. If you are a woman I suggest you don't see this doctor as he is he sort of crosses the professional / ethical line. Although he diagnosed me correctly and was able to help me medically , there was just a very off feeling about being in his office and being examined by him that made me want to go see someone else. The wait to see other gastroenterologists was really long so I just went through with the appointment although I felt like leaving because it was so extremely uncomfortable. It's just the way he was touching my stomach and looking at me I felt super uncomfortable. Second, when he examined me he didn't wear gloves and his bare hands were on my bottom. I just felt really disgusted in the appointment and like he was not being ethical / professional. I took his creams he prescirbed and will see another gastroenterologist instead of following up with him .

Dr. Loutfi helped me tremendously several years ago when I had a bad bout of acid reflux. After some tests we finally agreed on a gastroscopy, which he performed himself. He was professional and calming during the entire procedure. His secretary is very helpful and responsive.

At age of sixty plus, I have to say he is the worst doctor that I have had in my life. There has been occasions that I have had an appointment with him and been reminded by his office only to go there and find out that he was on vacation, Another time being in his office for another appointment after a test that was performed by him to find out that he did not even know that I was his patient and asking me why I was there so soon because the result was not in. I would not recommend this doctor to any one. he is far from being a compassionate and gentle human being never mind a doctor who is supposed to care for sick people.

I find him pleasant and attentive..i did feel ill at ease once when he offered to help unclasp my bra.
His secretary however is the single worst i have ever come across. You could leave more than 8 messages pleading before she will call you back. I had to go through a receptionist at the main clinic to get my follow ip. I gave up on her ever calling me back. And, she never did. Absolutely useless
