Botched a simple discectomy, thanks to him I'm now having a fusion. Every follow up visit he would say "I just don't understand where you're pain is coming from". He never completely removed the herniation, only what he could get to with his one trick device. He also had zero follow up care, physical therapy is not in his vocabulary. Do not let this man operate on you or anyone you care for. This will probably be deleted, however it is 100% accurate.

Did an L4/L5 micro diskectomy in 2003, and I never quite recovered from it. He kept saying "I don't understand where your pain is coming from". I don't know enough to comment objectively on the surgery, but the recovery treatment was not good. Maybe I'm just one of those bad statistics, but I can't help feeling that this surgery should have gone better.
