Impossible to reach this doctor. Over the years I thought it was his staff that was the problem. I was wrong! His schedule was never open, it was sporadic and limited. I found out that he planned to retire 1 month before he actually did. It did not notify any of his patients. It's obvious he did not want to be a doctor. Thank you for the medical abandonment CLARKE and now we have no prospects of finding a replacement doctor.

My sister is a patient of Dr. Clarke.

He has neglected her for years, he has retired and left her with no further care, with a prolapsed uterus, prolapsed rectum, enlarged liver, undiagnosed nodes and I can go on and on.

Once I get the go ahead from her, or unsavory results - we WILL be formally filing a complaint with the college.

SHAME ON YOU DR. CLARKE, I hope you enjoy your retirement

Quoi dire de lui? C’est un excellent médecin. Toujours à l’écoute et prends le temps nécessaire pour répondre à mes inquiétudes. Il s’assure de faire les suivis et il est d’une gentillesse …… Bravo docteur pour le beau travail que vous faites !!

Dr. Clarke is a wonderful family doctor, very knowledgeable, friendly, great table side manners, nearly always on time (in my experience). However calling in to book an appointment is a freaking nightmare. I have NEVER had success getting ahold of the secretary staff the first call, usually takes anywhere from 5 to 20 attempts (NOT EVEN JOKING) just to get someone to ANSWER the call, then to be told i have to call the next month to schedule an appointment or I have to call the next day because no one actually answered the phone.
In terms of his skills as a doctor I have all faith in him, however getting an actually appointment with him is near impossible and BEYOND frustrating.

Trying to reach Dr. Clarke is a full day of calling the clinic till one of the secretaries gives in and decides to answer the phone! I wish I was joking but my husband and I each use a phone and continuously redial, and press 6 to try and get the reception. On many occasions, we give up. When you finally get an answer, the staff are short tempered, they cut you off, are dismissive, ask why you want the appointment, they question the severity of your condition. You must justify your need for an appointment. They often hang up when they put you on hold snd you have to start the whole calling game again. Like all the previous comments, the staff working at the GMF Clinique Médicale du Plateau obviously wish they were anywhere but in that clinic.
As for Dr Clarke, he is good.

His staff needs to be fired, or trained to have communications skills - talking about well-being, mental health, they should be the first to make patients feel good as they are the first contact with the patients but rather these are the people who stress them out. Won't be surprise if people report them to La regie du Quebec. I am so thankful to see how my dentist staff is so great and respectful to me! That only makes you feel great to be with that dentist!
