I didn't realize that I was having 2 disc removed from my neck until I was in pre-op. My wife didn't like his bedside manner at all and when I tried to switch Dr's they told me I couldn't. I went to Bronson 1 1/2 years after my surgery for a 2nd opinion and found that the plate they put in was now broken, I haven't worked in 2 years, Dr. Fabi did surgery on my neck to fix the problem and now I'm finally feeling better and I'm going to get something done with my lower back for which I went to the Dr originally for.

I saw Dr Krinock two times regarding neck surgery. He was in a hurry the first time and answered some initial questions while standing up.
During my second visit he was genuinely angry that I was asking questions regarding major surgery. He may be a good surgeon, but my experience with him was that his attitude was terrible, he was condescending, and simply a completely uncaring jerk.
He confused my situation with another patient and snarckily reminded me of something that "we already went over". Well, we did not "go over that already", because the situation was with a DIFFERENT patient. He wouldn't even apologize for his mistake.
He failed to mention the fact that he would be getting a bone graft from my hip for the surgery,
His behavior was so poor during the second visit, I honestly did not know what to do. I was just stunned that a doctor was behaving this way.
There are much better options in the area. My experience with a different doctor, at a different hospital, was completely normal/what one would expect. Adequate information was clearly given and my anxiety level was significantly reduced. The exact same surgery by a different surgeon does not require a bone graft of my hip, nor does it require 6-12 weeks of wearing a neck brace. These are large differences.
Please at least get a second opinion if you have to deal with this doctor.

I was leery about seeing Dr. Krinik after reading other reviews of him and was right to be so. I went ahead with my scheduled appointment anyway and regretted not finding someone else when I had the chance. He literally laughed when I repeated the radilogists findings and he deemed them wrong in their diagnosis, simply because he wasn't willing to take on the risk of surgery. Pompous in attitude, a doctor who does not view the body in a hollistic way. Quick to disregard symptoms in order to get you out the door as soon as possible. Does not listen to complaints or history and talks down to you. TURN BACK WHILE YOU HAVE THE CHANCE, RESCHEDULE WITH SOMEONE WHO WILL TREAT YOU WITH RESPECT!

I have had 2 different and seperate surgeries performed by Dr. Krinock. Each surgery has had a great outcome. He and his staff were very careful evaluating me and answered all of my questions. I have called after hours and had a great response as well. Dr. Krinock will always be my first choice.
