I had surgery for a herniated disc that I had been repeatedly told , “nothing is wrong with you.” I saw Dr Botini and got my life back. I have had a neck issue and seeing someone for 8 months. I’m so glad I just moved back to MN so I hand carried my records in hopes he was still in St Cloud. My recovery was so easy, I just did exactly what he told me and have been pain free for 17 years and active!

If you are having surgery performed by Dr. Bottini, please rest assured you are in extremely capable hands. He explained everything to me in terms anyone could understand, and took the time to be sure I was on the same page. He visited me in the hospital post-op, and at all of my follow-up appointments, which he could have left to his PA. I had a spinal cord tumor removed, which was an incredibly stressful situation, but Dr. Bottini and his staff made it as comfortable as possible. Very highly recommend!

Best neurosurgeon in the Twin Cities; helped me when others couldn't. Spent a lot of time with me and my wife before surgery and everything went well.

My husband had a neck injury from a fall in another state. His records sent to Dr Bottini office. Had to deal with his Asst PEGGY. She is the worst!! We ended up going to another neurosurgeon because of her. Wouldn't give us his medical records. It took them a week to get back to us. Very Stressful time

Would not recommend--didn't seem to understand my situation or provide additional options/ideas for treatment. His staff was very good, though.

I think Dr. Bottini MIGHT be a good surgeon, but I may never find out. I saw him while insured after a car accident and he recommended a combination of conservative care followed by an evaluation and then possibly surgery. The insurance company denied care and are being sued to provide what they are contractually obligated to. My BIG PROBLEM with Dr. Bottini is that he refuses to write any report, provide a diagnosis or prognosis, or provide any information to my lawyer or even other doctors. He will "allow" me to see him again only for the purpose of prepping me for surgery. His nurse told me that any other purpose will not be allowed. In other words, IF YOU ARE AN AUTO ACCIDENT PATIENT HE WILL NOT HELP YOU. Period. I am trying to force the insurance company to pay for surgery but "my doctor" will not provide what any other doctor will. This is unethical in the extreme and had I known before I saw him that he won't help, I wouldn't have seen him. I no longer trust him to operate.
