Looks to all alternatives to surgery. Not looking to simply collect a paycheck. Thinks surgery is the last resort and should only be done to stabilize your spine.

The PA was a nice guy. The dr seemed knowledgeable of my condition (which was a first) but spent very little time talking to me. However, it is nearly impossible to get in touch with the office via phone and they charge to read scans! The office hours, according to their phone message, are 8-4:30 with a lunch break. I have called at 9:30, 2:00, and 4:00 before and gotten the operator saying that they are not in the office yet and to call back in a while. On the rare occasion that you do get through to their machine, you can choose to talk to the nurse or secretary. The secretary rarely answers and does not return voicemail. The nurse typically does return voicemail. Then, when it comes to the bill, I was told how much the initial appointment would cost (~$250) but was charged nearly $500. The consultation cost was a little higher, no big deal, but the dr charges nearly $200 to read an MRI!! No other dr has ever charged me a penny for that!
