Please listen to the other reviews as they are very accurate. I wish I did. I’ve been seeing him for 2 years and after the first visit I didn’t feel satisfied but I stuck with him for whatever reason. Each time has been worse. He doesn’t let you explain anything he just asks one question and if you respond with more than a yes or no he doesn’t comment on anything he just moves onto the next question. He has zero compassion for his patients and he breeds an unhappy environment in the work place. It’s obvious because the staff there are super rude and unpleasant to deal with. He always rushes through the appointments and has very few words to say. The biggest issue I have with his practice is the lack of professional care and the rudest staff members you’ll ever have to deal with. There are many doctors out there who CARE and want to help. Go find a different doctor, trust me.

I read these comments before I went to see this doctor for the first time. They weren't overly flattering. Some of the comments appear to old as well. I walked into the office, and was greeted by a pleasant and nice receptionist, and a little pup named Thor. As a person who loves animals, this put me at more ease. The receptionist was smiling, the doctor was smiling. I found his office refreshing, some say cluttered, he had books (yes books perish the thought) instead of a million diff computer things. He was patient, and kind, and took time to explain things to me, even printed out helpful material for me to bring home. He ordered tests that a previous doctor should've ordered and explained why he was ordering them, his secretary booked not only my MRI appointment instead of me having to navigate through the whole rigamorale, but also set up a followup for the following Monday so I wouldn't have to wait long for the results. Yes, his office is much more of an old school doctor setup, a little bit cluttered, and perish the thought, a lovely little chihuahua who sat on the counter with the secretary, but he seems to know his profession very well, and is very thorough. I prefer old school doctors, less fancy talk. So thank you to Dr. Hamjian and his staff (Thor too).

Dr. Hamjian and his secretary are quite unprofessional. At three separate appointments, Dr. Hamjian yelled at and criticised his secretary in front of us (patients) in the waiting room. I have witnessed him yelling at his secretary face-to-face and from his office at the back of the building. His office itself is cluttered and riddled with dust. He has a very poor beside manner, and he is impatient with both staff and patients. There is also a dog at the office who sits on the counter with the secretary. A doctor's office is not the place for a pet.

This practice is an excellent example of what is wrong with the American medical system. My appointment was double booked, as I suspect are all appointments they make, meaning that the working single mother misses a day if work, and her son missed a day of school and didn't get to see a doctor, lest Hamjian run the rusk of losing his fees for an appointment that's not double booked. He urged me to switch to a brand name from the generic, had me take unnecessary blood tests, further indication of the unethical, money grubbing way he runs his practice. He was in the other room threatening to withhold someone's medical records over a workman's comp claim for the majority of my visit. The office was filthy and disorganized, and there was a flea infested dog in the reception area, biting large bare patches on his haunches. All in all, I'd say avoid this practice at all cost if not for qualms about the moral terpitude, then simply to avoid getting scabies from the disgusting office.

What a joke!! Office is filthy dirty. Junk piled from floor to ceiling....in every room.!! Dr. Hamjian was very rude with absolutely no bedside manners. Should be shut down by the board of health. He also was dirty and disheveled. There is not a nurse. The receptionist weighs you and takes your height. He calls you to come in and you're left bewildered to which room to enter, as at first it looks like it's under construction. Then on second take there is junk everywhere. What a creepy place!!
