I am truly appalled by the treatment I received today.

Dr. Jacques diagnosed me 3 years ago. I never had a good feeling about him and could never open up much as I always felt judged. Today, I was told, when requesting a form to be filled out by my treating neurologist, that he does not fill out forms for work or insurance companies, but the other doctor does...when I asked what do I do if my family physician is not the expert and can't provide advice in that field, I switch doctors? He said, sure, you'll need a new referral from your family doctor... Baffled, I leave in tears, not believing what just happened. My husband found about 10 violations of the code of ethics in his behavior today. When my hubby's there at appointments, Dr. Jacques does not behave the same way with me...my husband's a vet too ;)

Dr. Francois Jacques should not be practicing in clinics if he wants to concentrate on "bigger cases". I agree with the other comments that he's rude, impatient, makes you feel stupid and wrong and is degrading.

Would you want someone like that treating you for your MS?

I have never received as much of a poor service as i have gotten from Dr. François Jacques + the clinic. DO NOT STEP FOOT in his clinic. After months and months of wait for an appointment at the clinic for a carpal tunnel test, I was called in for a review appointment with Dr. Jacques. He kept trying to make it seem like i was lying about my pain and that i am wasting his time. Also. the clinic messed up my appointments and had pushed my appointment with the doctor by 4 weeks. After arguing for a couple of minutes, the doctor finally agreed to see me because his appointment didnt show. He seemed to be ignorant to the fact that i speak English. HE kept using terms in French and when i asked him what it was he would answer and give me attitude as if i'm someone stupid sitting infront of him. I left the office deceived and in tears as I have been waiting for a long time for a solution. Dr. Jacques IS NOT someone i would recommend, nor someone I would ever go see again.

Dr Jacques est mon neurologue depuis 4 ans. J'ai aussi participé à une étude clinique avec lui pendant 2 ans donc des rendez-vous j'en ai eu une tonne avec lui. Dr Jacques semble lunatique mais je suis certaine que c'est seulement car il prend le temps de bien analyser les questions que nous lui posons. Du à l'étude que j'ai fait, j'ai fréquenté la clinique chaque mois pour la journée entière. Les infirmières sont merveilleuse (surtout Victorine, qui était l'infirmière qui s'occupait de moi la majorité du temps). Le point le plus faible que j'ai à cette clinique était l'administration. J'ai à l'occasion trouvé les secrétaires bête et sévère lorsqu'elle parlaient à des patients. Je recommande fortement cette clinique et surtout Dr Jacques. Merci pour tout.

Since Dr. Jacques diagnosed my husband w/ vasculitis in 2009, he prescribed my husband IVIG & prednisone. Ever since, he still look after my husband up to the present w/ so much patience & kindness in his face. I know my husband made a wrong decision discontinuing prednisone, only to find out later the symptoms gotten worst than expected. Dr. Jacques always has his door open to my husband in an emergency situation. Very conscientious & competent neurologist. My sincere thanks to you Dr. Jacques. God speed!

Saw this Dr. for 4 years, prescribed me a treatment that was not for me. Kept telling me my pain and symptomes where all in my head. He was always rude and very upset when I would bring him facts or questions from my family doctor. Finally my family dr. helped me out before I did the unthinkable and today I switch Neurologist and being treated with a new treatment, proper pain medications. I have proof on paper that the pain and other things happening where happening for a reason and it was not all in my head. Stop thinking your always right Dr. Jacques... We, maybe are not doctors, but WE live with ourselfs every day.

Je l'ai eu pendant des années. Très intelligent mais il a très peu de savoir vivre, très bête et parfois même dégradant. Pendant des années il m'a dit que c'étatit toute dans ma tête... Jusqu'à ce qu'il trouve une tumeur dans ma tête... Par la suite il a été plus gentil, mais pas pour longtemps... Il est très ''moody'' et j'ai finalement changé de neurologue et je suis bien contente de ne plus avoir à le voir et subir son arrogance. Il a beaucoup de savoir mais quand les manières sont si mauvaises ça sert pas à grands choses.

J'en suis a la 2eme consultation avec ce professionnel pour un cas d'evaluation a l'alzaimer.C'est sur que son approche est dérangeante car il parle peu et j'en ressort un peu comme j'en suis rentré, par contre il réponds volontier et clairement aux questions,mais il me semble competent et ne s'encombre pas de long discours,(ce n'est pas un politicien)Je continue a lui faire confiance. Ceux qui le critique sont ils Medecin ?, comment jugé quand on ne connait pas le domaine

Vraiment bon docteur. Vrai qui semble froid a premiere vue, mais pose les bonnes questions. Chapeau à ce docteur qui n'a pas la ''job'' la plus facile. Il traite mon conjoint, qui lui a la sclérose en plaque. Il devrait en voir des mures et des pas mures, ce pourquoi cette petite froideur peut-être. Tres bon docteur, un des plus compétents que nous avons vus.

pourri il a vu mon mari a l'hopital il ne le connait pas et ne connait pas plus son état de santé il lui a prescrit des pillules assez forte que mon mari a fait une intoxcication et en es presque mort et il n'est pas encore hors de danger
