Back in 2017 I was having migraines plus other things that was going on headache wise. He gave me meds I have already tried and didn't work. I knew something was wrong and went to MU and they did an MRI in late Feb and called me back that night and said that I had a stroke bit it was really small, smaller than a TIA. I have been with them ever since. And just recently found out by another MRI of grad and neck, my neck is what is causing all my headaches.

This dr saw me in the hospital and said I was fine. He then saw me a month later for a follow-up appointment and again insisted all the uncomfortable sensations I had been feeling (out of the blue) were due to my monthly cycle hormones (an OBGYN disagreed). He never suggested testing. A couple months later, I saw a different neurologist who performed a skin biopsy which confirmed I have severe neuropathies. Though this doctor was not rude or unpleasant to speak with, he did not take me seriously and is not knowledgeable, unfortunately. I recommend going to someone else!!

Went to this doctor for my seizure control. He did a great job explaining to me how the medications would work and what I could expect. My wife also recently went to him for migraine headaches and loved him. Her migraines are well controlled now. The Doctor does have an accent but I didn't have trouble understanding him at all

I visited Dr. Hooshmand for complications with fibromyalgia (a condition i have seen dozens of doctors/specialist for and has been diagnosed over and over.) He told me that my constant pain & inability to control my muscles and appendages at times was just me being too sensitive. He had to ask me what fibromyalgia was.when i told him he replied that he "didn't really buy into that whole thing" and that my "mother cared too much about me." He then tried to talk me n2 getting & paying for MRI even though he said there was nothing wrong and that years of pain, endomitosis, and dozens of doctors were figments of my imagination. Dr. Hooshmand was rude, self important, not clear, and spoke english poorly. I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone. Don't go here unless you feel like being talked down to by a man who doesn't grasp language or medicine all that well.
