Dr. Muir wasn’t doctor. February 14,1974 I lost a baby. It was at Sibley Hospital. A week prior a heart beat was heard. It would have been unbearable to have the baby inside until delivery so a decision was made to take the baby. I was anesthetize so I only have a memory of me crying. before and after arriving home. There is no recollection of anything in between and my husband recalls nothing. To this day I cry because I have no knowledge of whatever happened to the baby. An IUD had wrapped around its neck. I did not wish to take birth control pills but because of a C -section in April 1969 and March 1973 it was not recommended for me to become pregnant. I did get pregnant summer of 1973 either prior to the IUD or after the IUD was inserted. Is there any way to know if it is was a boy or girl and what happened to the body. Where are old doctors and hospital records kept. Time has not erased the sorrow but if I had more answers I could have Dr. Muir delivered my last child in November, 1975.

not a good baby dr - smoked in his office while i was pregnant (1991. gave negative opinions on other patients to the assistant - while he was giving me an exam. i had severe post partum depression - birth control pills made it worse - i reported to him this was a problem - he commented - if you aren't ready to kill yourself so - stay on the BC pills.
