I have been going to Dr Gimbel for six years now. He helped me with my first pregnancy, and was very reassuring and informative. He has a great demeanor, and I always felt comfortable asking him any and all questions! He always remembers me, and asks how my daughter (who he delivered) is doing. He did a fantastic job during her delivery as well, as did all the nurses in the delivery wing. I am pregnant again, and will only see Dr Gimbel. I feel he is very attentive, ordered all necessary testing during my pregnancy, and was equally concerned with my follow up care in the weeks after delivery. All around, just a fantastic experience!!

I agree with the previous comment. Same thing happened to me. He was great when I first saw him in 1984 but as time went by I was treated as the previous writer experienced. I quit going and found a new dr in lewiston. I think Dr. Gimbel got to busy and worried about making more money.

Dr. Gimbel seems to give personalized service at the first visit, but does not seem to be as personalized on follow up visits. I felt the staff was very demanding, the doctor didn't know who I was on the follow up visits and I felt like I was just another number.
