I also have been a patient of Dr. Vincent's since I was 12 years old, I am now 28. she's great for the most part but I have since been put on medication that requires tracking by my physician and I feel like I've been left out in the cold. I know I can get medication from the hospital by waiting in ridiculously long lines and keeping people who are sick "right now" from getting into the dr. quicker. For those of you who think she should pay less attention to her psychiatric patieints I disagree! Being that I am one of them I think she is very helpfull (when she keeps her appointments) and I like the idea of having talk days as not to interfear with everyone else. I do however, disagree very strongly with her having her daughter call to cancel appointments, she is a child not a receptionist. I also have to say that when asked Eleanore always says that things are fine and running normally so to the person on here that says "dr's have lives why don't you ask?.." Because it's inappropriate

I've been a patient of Eleanor's for nearly 20 years. As a "doctor" I think she's top notch. But that means nothing if you can't get in to see her. I had an app't a month ago. No one there when I went. Voice mail always full. I have no idea what's going on. I have friends who live close by who are spending hours at her office or more correctly in the parking lot just trying to get in touch to find out what's going on, do we still have a Dr. or not? We have records we need, perscriptions renewed, referrals looked after, none of this can be done when nobody's there. I guess the best I can hope for is a new doctor and from the other posts I've seen here I won't count on getting my records.

I've been a patient with Elenore for over 18 yrs, I've quite had it!!! Not only can I not get hold of her for forever!! Too many cancelled appointments and a voice mail that is constantly "full" I have severe medical problems and can't even get my prescriptions re-peated and the pharamcy hasn't been able to fax for over three weeks (they say that thery have over 20 request(s)) as the machine is out of paper or not working-I was forced to go the emerg dept,. for my repeats and have to thru that wait and trouble for 1 mth worth of meds only to have to go thru this again since I've been orphaned by my own family Doc! I have confronted her as to the trouble her office is having, and the missed/cancelled appoitments and etc, etc,, only to say that there isn't any worries and all is well!! There isn't any Doc taking on patience in this area and I feel sad and dismissed by whom I thought of as not only a great M.D but a knowing and understanding friend,,,but sadly not any longer :((

Certainly agree with all comments.Reason maybe we choose not to report her-at least we have a Dr name for medical reports ie work?I find it very insulting appt cancellation done by daughter(child-labour?)(WHERE'S RORY lol) & told they will rebook-haha.Surgery last yr booked thru emerg.Dr suggested I see my Dr-I laughed.Noted who Dr was & scheduled tests & even surgeon. Emerg surgery required & never once seen own Dr.She was very good one time but now maybe she needs a different job.Recently required drug refill-druggist gave enough for 10 days (thank-you) but no more w/out Dr ok. Suggested walkin clinic as "orphan"patient, explain problem(all local Dr's aware)& hopefully they will agree a renew. If not what than?I need b/wkly shots 4 since June/Sept & got quite ill.Wonderful specialist(who always keeps appt) advised I need shots on time & will teach me if I get medicine from office.Never open. Now what?Get sicker?.Maybe nurse in office "all the time" would help! Good Luck & Stay healthy!

My family & I feel the same as many others, Dr. vincent is never available. At times when she is at the office your waiting hours to see her. My family & I found a new Doctor over a year ago & are still waiting for our files to be sent to us? I understand a person might be late or even need time off work for family & health reasons, but to let your patients down month after month & year after year.

Waiting times are just too LONG!!! Shes always cancelling appointments or her daughter is cancelling for her. You can never get a hold of the office, the phone is always 'full'...It takes forever to get in there and then she has the nerve to leave notes on the door that she had to cancel your appointment?? I also cannot get her to give me my childrens files so we can take them to my husbands physician! She needs a new profession that will work around her daughters agendas!

Same issues as everyone else...she cancels every appointment you have, well, not her, but her daughter actually calls and cancels! She needs to be investigated! I now have a new doctor, but have been waiting since April for my medical records so my son can get the vaccines he was supposed to have almost 2 years ago! My father still uses Dr. Vincent, and in the past month, he has had 3 or 4 of his appointments cancelled by her daughter, another one cancelled today! Not something he needs to deal with right now, as his wife passed away 2 days ago! She must have some kind of substance abuse problem, and isn't fit to be treating people anymore! I would urge all patients to just go and get a new doctor, not sit and wait for her to admit to whatever her problem is.

i was very saddened by Dr. Vincent's behaviour. If she has personal issues or illness she needs to let her patients know, they should not have to ask. They should not be treated this way. She needs to get a fill in Dr. or close her practice until she is able to work at her best again. I was a psycholygy patient and felt totally abandoned by her. It was devastating for me. But because she has her own problems and all those patients, she didn't give me a second thought and I had to wait 6 mos for a new therapist. It was very hard on me and my family. I hope something will make her look at what she is doing to the patients that are leaving. The ones that are affected by her unprofessional behaviour. I understand she may have her own problems, but it isn't helping anyone by her trying to keep working this way.

I have been going to Dr. Vincent for 15 years now and she was a very caring and knowlegable. When you needed to see her you could get in now appointments are cancelled at last moment, not by her or Rory but by her daughter calling and cancelling. When you are sick you need a doctor then not next month. If she does not want to practice family medicine any more she should at least tell us so we could look for a new doctor.

Most of the above comments about waiting times and the closed office apply, however, it might be a good idea to review why appointments have been cancelled lately: the construction jobs which surround the office. I have always been contacted by the office or from Dr.Vincent herself when appointments needed to be rescheduled. Another thing, someone comments that one always feels like the only person in her care---that says something: personal, professional, even though not punctual. Two out of three is not at all bad.
