In My opinion Dr Taylor is a Great Surgeon with Questionable Bedside and Clinic Manners. My late mother told him about being hurtful to Me. I was frigthened of him when I had my 2nd surgery after a Colonoscopy without Sedation of Any Kind. He couldnt get IV in and refused to wait for IV Team so I suffered .. Never Again..

Dr. Taylor is superb. He operated on my mother and he was extremely thorough both pre and post surgery. He was always willing to answer questions, never rushed us, and was completely open to allowing her to make the decision regarding surgery without any pressure from him. He showed a willingness to consult with other experts and his manner with us, her family members, was patient and welcoming.

An absolutely incredible doctor. Not only is he an amazing and knowledgeable doctor, but he is also compassionate, caring, and really listens to his patients. He recently treated my mom for rectal cancer, and it was such a relief to finally have a good doctor after she had been misdiagnosed numerous times by her family doctor. Dr. Taylor was hoenst and straightforward from the beginning, but it was very apparent that he genuinely cares about his patients. We never feel rushed with him, he truly listens, and he really does care. We've talked to many other people who know him and who have had him as their doctor/surgeon and every single person feels the same way: that he is one of the best doctors there is. My mom may require surgery in the future and we feel confident knowing that she'll have the best surgeon in London.

I feel compelled to warm other people about Dr. Taylor because I have seen what he does to some of his patients. He certainly cares, but seems to care too much and chooses to operate on people with conditions where operations are not warranted. There isn't a surgical answer to everything, and I think that false hope is more dangerous than no hope. Be careful signing onto something like I did. I now have less bowel, less freedom, more problems, more planned surgery, longer hospital stay and generally a more complicated life because he offered a treatment noone else would.

I became Dr Taylor's patient through Emerg during Christmas week. Despite the reduction in staff and his increased workload I knew he was always on top of my situation. Dr Taylor is, beyond a doubt, a superior doctor, surgeon and human being. His office and bedside manner, compassion and patience are beyond reproach. This excellence extends also to his staff: they are kind, caring, patient, and good listeners. Seeing Dr. Taylor interact with his students in a clinical/hospital setting gives this person hope for the future of medicine in Ontario (provided his students remain here). He encourages questions from his patients and students and answers them fully and intelligibly. When dealing with patients, his students are able to admit when they don't know the answer to a question, find the answer and then respond to the patient in a timely and informative manner. I have no fears facing my upcoming surgery in Dr Taylor's eminently capable hands.

Dr. Taylor is a colorectal surgeon but does do other surgeries. He is a wonderful surgeon and has literally saved my life. For being such a great surgeon he has no ego and listens and cares for his patients with understanding and helpfulness. I can't say enough good about him as he is just the best.

What can I say about Dr Taylor that has not been said...He is the very best...He has performed surgery on me 4 times since 1996...I don't know what I would do without him....very caring and calming...A-1 bedside manner...He has always been there for me...Dr Taylor is in my thoughts and prayers always...DR BRIAN TAYLOR....SIMPLY THE BEST !!!!

Absolutely the best there is. He knows your name and remembers everything about you each time you go in (and he sees thousands of patients). He is so helpful, and seeks assistance from colleagues when unsure. Dr. Taylor is definitely "TOP-NOTCH"
