Nous avons reçu un traitement de fertilité et avons rencontré Dr Lapensée qu'à une reprise pour notre protocole et nous gardons un très bon souvenir de notre rencontre. Elle à pris le temps de répondre à toutes les questions et avons senti qu'elle avait le souci de notre rêve. Il est maintenant réalité. Merci à Dr Lapensée. Le staff de l'accueil chez OVO est effectivement problématique. Très difficile d'avoir un sourire et un service agréable.

After 6 MC I was lucky enough to find Dre Lapensee. She is the first doctor in 8 years to be helpful and to actually seem to care about our situation and history. And from one appointment to the next she actually remembers us and our history. She is very competent, takes the necessary time to explain things and has a very warm approach.

J'ai eu la chance de la voir à quelques reprises pendant mon suivi de grossesse à l'hôpital St-Luc et elle est sérieusement le médecin que j'ai le plus apprécié de tous! Elle est toujours de bonne humeur, répond bien à toutes mes questions et ça paraît qu'elle sait ce qu'elle fait! Je me suis tout de suite sentie en confiance avec elle et tout a toujours été clair, contrairement à beaucoup d'autres docteurs où je devais poser des milliers de questions en me dépêchant avant qu'ils quittent la salle d'examen. Je lui donne un 100%, A+!

We are patients at Ovo Clinic who were ready to walk out we were so angry at the service we got. The front desk staff can't be bothered to do anything quickly and training appears to be completely lacking for the most basic things- we simply needed a re-print of a form that we forgot at home, and it took a 15 minute phone call and a further 10 minutes for the girl to figure out how to print something from her computer. Dr Lapansee is impatient and fairly abrupt in my opinion. I asked a simple question about a calculation on a sperm count, and I don't think she even knew herself- because she made it seem pointless that I even asked for clarification. She's impossible to get a timely follow-up appt, it's always about 6 weeks, and then when you finally get her she shoves you in and out the door in 5 minutes- so you can make another appt with her in yet another 6 weeks!My experience with the other DRs at this clinic have been outstanding though, we have now decided to change DRs.

J'ai été opérée 3 fois par laparoscopie pour des problèmes de kystes et d'endométriose. La dernière fois, c'était par Dre Lapensée. Comparativement aux deux interventions précédentes (4 cicatrices, 12 points de suture, trois semaines de convalescence, infection dans les plaies) réalisées par d'autres gynécos, elle a fait un travail extrêmement "propre" : 3 cicatrices, 1 seul point de suture, en forme après 2-3 jours de convalescence, aucune infection. C'est de loin la meilleure gynéco que j'ai eue.

Dr Lapensée was incompetent on 2 occasions: when we were first 'shopping' for an IVF clinic and 'interviewing' doctors, she was the only one (out of 4 in MTL) to refuse to give out statistics on OVO saying that it wasn't relevant (what?!) and the only one to suggest insemination instead of IVF which would have been a total waste of our time. That's the 1st incompetency. The second was when I was followed by a US clinic because of failed treatements in MOntreal, I needed to have my weekly blood drawn and US tests done in Montreal and chose to do them at OVO (near work). Well, one day it was DR.Lapensée who did my ultra sound (everything was going very well) and when she learnt of what we were doing (something not offered in Canada) she dismissed it telling me that it was a waste of time and money and that it would probably not work. Very insecure doctor! By the way, I am 5 months pregnant!!!

Elle dort au gaz... Elle est trop positive, a l'extrême... Elle nous a encouragée a faire 2 iac qui n'avait même pas assez de spermatozoide pour concevoir. Elle nous recommandait de continuer la fiv même avec seulement 1 ovule qui risquait de se rendre a maturité et en payant le 12000$ de traitement et de médicaments qu'une fiv implique... C'est nul
