I love Dr. Andrew and Barbara. I can tell Dr.Andrew anything and I do. I have never once felt judged (Except for smoking!) and when there has been a serious health concern, she was concerned and compassionate. I think she tells it like it is and I appreciate that. I will continue with Dr. Andrew until she is no longer practicing.

Have seen this Doctor several times and strongly disagree with the previous entries.... Her manner suggests a genuine concern ... She integrates common sense with the text book stuff resulting in solid and compassionate medical care.... I'll be coming back ... Thx Doc ... :)

Talks way too much about her personal life and doesn't spend as much time on your case. Saw her for 3 yrs and changed doctors. My feeling is that she is bored and frustrated with her practice and is not a genuinely happy person.

I find that Dr. Andrew is very personable, however, between complaining about OHIP, specialists who are downloading to GP more responsibilities and the problems in her personal life you sometimes wonder if this is not the reason for only 1 complaint per visit. I have been going to her for 15 years and I am now investigating changing doctors. I find it frustrating to find out results of x-rays, tests, etc. There is no followup after these tests and you most times, after calling, get the results from her receptionist, or are told you have to come in and then find out that the tests are normal, which could have been conveyed to you over the phone. Her practice is now located in an area that is almost unaccessible by public transportation and there is no longer the facilities in her building for x-ray, blood work, etc. which results in up to a 1 to 3 week delay before she can treat you. Not good when you are suffering, in pain, or the problem is serious.

Talks too much about her family, constantly ****es about OHIP and how hard done by doctors are and spends too little time with the patient's problem. My last physical exam lasted 15 min. - I was stunned. During that physical I asked her about two problems I was having and she said I would have to make other app'ts to discuss them - I thought a physical was the time to let her know about new problems - how silly of me. I'm in the process of changing family physicians.

i have been going to doctor andrew for a number of years now. i started going to her when i lived in scarborough. she was recommended to me by my son. i have continued to go to her for the last two years after moving to innisfil. i don't care about the drive. dr. andrew is very staight forward, willing to answer your questions. she keeps track of everything that you need. i see her every three months as she is monatring my blood pressure and will change my meds if she deams it necessary. i find that she is very friendly and always makes me laugh. she is also very much a hands on mom, going all over the country with her son for his archery competitions. she uses her own holiday time to do this. i hope that she stays around for a very long time. judy k.

Dr. Andrew is a breath of fresh air! Although professional and straight to the point, she's takes the time to know WHO you are! I always have a laugh with her and when the situation is serious, she is a strong, concerned Doctor, who also feels like a friend. I adore her.

Dr. Andrew is an excellent MD. I have been her patient since 1988. She even gave me free samples because she knew I was a university student! She is always willing to hear about my life and that makes me want to be interested in hers. I will not change doctors as long as I live here.
