Me traite pour diabete depuis bientot 10 ans...Visite tout les 6mois peu bavard et routinier ..par contre n'hésite pas a recommander examens spécialisées au plus petit symptome de malaises.

Ancien patient m. 45 ans référé pour hypothyroidie, je l'ai vu 2 fois. Contact avec le patient 3/5. Il m'a peu interrogé, peu bavard, écrivait beaucoup. Examen physique trop sommaire. Traitement basé plus sur l'ajustement sanguin de la TSH que la disparition des symptômes qui sont à l'origine de la consultation(selon moi, la TSH n'est pas utile à mesurer le bien-être). Il était fermé à l'essai d'autres médicaments homologués moins répandus.

Back in 1989, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and he was my doctor. My blood sugar levels were always over 12mmol/L (high blood sugar) but he said it was normal for an overweight person to have higher levels of glucose in their blood. I saw him routinely over the next 3 years until I had an infection that caused me to be rushed to the hopsital with a blood glucos level of 24 (normal levels are 3.9 to 6.9 roughly). I was told by many doctors that this doctor should have asked for more blood tests to see why the sugar levels were elivated. I asked him many times during my visits why my sugar level was up and he always gave me and my parents the same answer, overweight people can have high blood sugar levels. He might be right, and it could have been just my weight, but he never dug deeper to see if there was another problem causing this.
