What can I do for you today is her opener, so you best have some background, because she doesn't dig very deeply. There is a lack of empathy, and respect for patient Doctor team work, and a lack of skill in connecting dots. Perhaps too busy being prompt. Good luck with encouragement on serious illness. When asked if I could change doctors, told we are stuck with each other. Nice? Not behind closed doors. Or when it is needed. I am relieved to be treated by her replacement when she is away because then I am reminded what kindness as well as professionalism is.

I've seen Dr Pienaar for a number of years and I always find her pleasant to deal with. She even visited me in the hospital after getting a report I was there. I thought that was awesome!!

Dr. Pienaar Rocks! She is the rockstar of all the doctors. She is punctual, knowledgable and helpful. She is willing to listen to suggestions and either go with it or tell me why it wouldn't be a good idea for me. She is awesome. Hands down, you want her by your bedside if anything goes wrong...she's on top of all it. Love her to bits!

Dr. Pienaar is knowledgable, thoughtful and willing to listen to and deal with our concerns, referring to specialists when necessary. On a sudden emergency hospital stay including surgery, she came in to visit and immediately planned follow up to determine the background cause. She is an outstanding physician.

Dr. Pienaar has been my family doctor for nearly 10 years. I find her to be caring, professional and approachable. I am a nervous person with medical things and she puts me a ease with her calm manner. She is never hesitant to refer to a specialist if needed. She has always done excellent follow up and takes time to explain any tests or procedures. I am very pleased with the Sow's Ear Clinic as well. If Dr. Pienaar is not available, they will always make room with another physician in the practice.
