I needed a surgery done that I was quite anxious and nervous about. I went to go see Dr. De La Rocha and he so caring , and amazing. The first time I met him he said to me "let me help you" Dr De La Rocha gave me my life back. Thank you!

Dr. De La Rocha is by far one of the best doctors I've had in my lifetime. This man is one of very few physicians who genuinely cares about the well being of his patients rather than money. I have had several medical problems which i have consulted many doctors about, and Dr. De La Rocha was the only one to explain what was going on and what steps were needed in order to further examine and solve the problem. He also took the time to book an appointment to fully understand what was happening with me so that he could take the right steps in order to help me.

Had just a consult booked with this horrible doctor, but he dismissed me in less than 5 minutes saying that without an exam he can't help me, nor discuss anything. I told him I did not come today to be examined, but to just talk about procedures, but he did not care & just said, " I cannot help you!" & said goodbye & left the office! I was shocked, not only at his lack of professionalism, but most importantly his lack of common courtesy. I specifically told the office that I did not want nor need an exam yet & just wanted to get advice regarding surgical procedures & I was told a consult would be ok. His behaviour is unacceptable!! I came for advice & help & literally was ignored, dismissed & told there is no help without an exam! I complained to the office & will proceed further. NO ONE should talk to anyone like this, nor be treated in this way!
This doctor has a frightening past history, so I would recommend looking him up first before seeing him. Now, I would never have anything to do with any of the Rudd Clinics b/c if they hire someone like Dr. De La Rocha then it is criminal & very dangerous, especially if he does any kind of surgery, never mind just asking for advice!
DO NOT deal with this doctor!!

He is a very unhappy person and wants to make everybody feel the same like him. If you do not like your job do not do it; let other people more empathetic do it. I would not recommend him to anyone.

I had a referral from my GP requesting for rubber band ligation for treating my hemmeroids. I waited for 1 hr. 20 min. to see Dr. De La Rocha at the Rudd Clinic (Oakville Location). He was very loud, rude and totally unempathetic. He gave me an exam, told me I had Stage 3 Hemorrhoid and refused to give me the banding treatment. He claimed it was useless. My GP's referral had specifically requested the treatment with the word "URGENT" on it. Why did he give me an appt. if he had no intention of performing the treatment. He said that if something happened while he performed the treatment, then he had to answer for it. Does not matter that I needed the treatment badly. I asked him meanwhile what should I do with the bleedings that have been occuring, he said that was not his conern. What a waste of my time and the cost to OHIP.
