Excellent Dr.- reason for waiting is justified by his listening skills. You never feel rushed or pushed out. I like the fact that he's not a drug pusher but seems dedicated to finding a cure to problems. His nurse is also a very caring and skilled person.

Eric has been my doctor for over 25 years now. I have lifelong disorders and find him to be the most helpful of all doctors I see. Yes, the waiting room wait is often long, but well worth it for his bedside manners are excellent. I never have to wait more than a week for an appointment, I suppose he really does prioritize. When I was pregnant with my Twins I preffered seing him over my ObGyn. He will go over tests and results in detail. I could not recommend a better doctor. Having some knowledge of what is going on before hand helps alot. Someone once said "the best doctor is yourself" so take the time to research your symptoms and then ask away...unlike other doctors he isn't a pill pusher and will answer all your questions...you just have to know what to ask. My diagnosis for several of my illnesses took years...HE WAS THE ONE to get the proper ones. I owe my life to him. Thank you Eric Paquette!

Dr. Paquette was my family doctor for most of my life, so I never really knew how bad he was until I left Timmins. He is very knowledgeable, but is often aloof (probably due to overwork) and will often forego more agressive courses of action if it means work for him. Also, the wait to see him, both when booking, and when at his office is ridiculous, overworked or not. If he were in a more competitive market than Timmins, he'd have trouble attracting and keeping patients. Fortunately for him, he is a big and smart fish in a very small and fish-free pond.

Encouraging, sympathetic, takes time to talk. If he is not sure will refer you to a specialist. I love my Doctor, just wish he wasn't so busy. Takes awhile for an appointment.
