The best doctor in the valley. Unfortunately Dr Barker only works three mornings a week.

She is the best doctor i have ever seen... hands down. Nothing is too much trouble for her- she will listen to you and she cares. I am going to start to see her as my regular doctor at superstore. She is worth her weight in gold

I have just recently started seeing dr barker because of my on going chest pain I've had for 11 months wich is getting worse day by day. I've had multiple test done to find the problem all keep comming back negative so now I'm in a situation were I can't work because the pain is unbearable and feels like I'm going to have a heart attack . Since day one I have told docters it's my heart I can feel it there answers are it's all in your head !! You will be fine. That's not the case I am not fine at all.she believes me and has taken my file home to research and work with me on getting to the bottom of this were not there yet but I am very confident she won't let me down or get me in the right direction to somebody that can she is the best doctor I have ever delt with she always has time to listen and cares a lot about her patients I had lost hope till I met her

She's awesome, the only reason I'm on this site is to track her down and change the family to her care. Unfortunately she's only working the Superstore Walk-in. She just fixed my son and wife this week after they both were misdiagnosed by 2 different Doctors. Thank you Dr.

The Best Doctor I have been to!!! She always remembers me no matter how long since last seen. I only wish she had a practice of her own so she could be my family's primary Doctor.

I actually wanted to hug her after taking my daughter in to see her at the walk in clinic. She knew exactly what the problem was, how to habndle it and showed us a great deal of empathy and understanding. I wish she were my doctor, we need more like her in this community.

Best Dr. in the Valley. Not my primary but I have seen Katie for over 10 years at the Washington Medical Clinic. A "real" Dr. who cares about what your going through and works to get to the root of the issue. Dr. if you see this thank you for all your work, open your own practice, the Valley needs you!

Kate Barker was my physician many years ago in Campbell River. She remains the best physician I have ever had and now that I am in a position of needing to find a new GP I am seriously considering tracking her time at the walk in clinic and driving from Nanaimo to see her. Kate was extremely proactive, determined to find answers, and very personalble. The rating indicate that she has not changed.I'm now in my 60's and have never found a physician that compares to her. I echo the thoguhts of others -OPEN A PRACTICE KATE - we need you!

We are extremely blessed to have such a kind, attentive, gifted Doctor such as Dr. Barker in our community. She is not my primary care Dr. However should she open up her own practice I would stand out in the rain ready to ask that she take me on as her patient. The best alternative is seeing Dr. Barker when I cannot get an appoiintment with my primary care Dr.
