His staff is extremely condescending. He has been my eye doc for over 20 years and I'm switching to someone else because I can't deal with their rudeness any more. They also overbook and you have to wait forever when you arrive.

I would highly recommend Dr Hickey and his staff to anyone. He is the best for sure. I have been going to Dr. Hickey for a lot of years and my daughter also go to him. Very personable, Just a great doctor/guy. We will be back for sure.

Dr. Hickey is thorough, professional and courteous. He always makes me feel at ease and is forthcoming with explanations (I don't have to pull information from him). Simply top notch!

This Doctor is the very Best! I just left my appointment and once again I am thrilled with his knowledge and how thorough he is. Dr.Hickey has also been very helpful in regards to my eyecare/Diabetes. Many years ago, when I was struggling financially, he was generous in working out a payment plan with me ... A great Dr. and a great person!

He is very thorough and knowledgeable. I have total confidence in him as my Optometrist. However, he is always running behind schedule and pushes his own optical retail services a little too strongly.

I have been going to Dr. Hickey for a number of years, in fact, most of my family members also go to him. I find him to be very knowledgeable and hasn't been too far off with his diagnosis. I have 100 % confidence in his judgement. I have never felt pressured having my prescription filled there at all. I found him to be very pleasant and professional anytime I had been there....I would highly recommend this doctor to anyone. He is one of the best, if not the best, in Charlottetown.

I think he is knowledgeable but he was VERY annoyed when I decided to get my prescription filled elsewhere. In fact, he phoned me to tell me how annoyed he was!! When I pay for the appointment and the exam, the prescription is mine to fill where I please. This was a few years ago so I hope he has changed. His manner on the phone was very unprofessional and I would never go back.

Very knowledgable... Can tell you what you should be experiencing before you do. Can be a little uppity at times. Over all, very good doctor.
