Dr Black is the BEST doctor I have ever had. He has been professional, courteous, saved my life more than once. He is the best.

thanks to Dr John Black i still have my husband that was told he only had 4 days to live at another hospital not enough words to thank him he took very good care of my mom and dad for years

Before I moved in 2009 Dr Black was my Dr since 1985 and I felt he did a great job taking care me and my 2 children that he delivered. I didn’t fine he pushed pills at all but I do find now that I am in Halifax where testing equipment is closer it’s easier to get sent for diagnostic testing then when in digby which has 0 hospital but I don’t think that would be Dr Blacks fault. He knows his stuff!

Can't comment on him but just spoke with extremely rude staff member. Based in that service, I'm just as happy to be able to deal with kind, helpful folks at the Annapolis clinic. While it's problematic to be dropped from a doctor's patient load, at least we won't have to deal with that woman again.

He has been my Dr. For 40 years! He Does not easily give out Meds! He still attends Seminars and directs them to keep current. He will go to an elders house if needed! I know he will retire soon and it will be Digby’s biggest Medical loss they have had!

Just want to reply to the person who commented he don't push meds. Well he may not push them, but he sure doesn't mind giving them. Now that he is under investigation, I'm sure he is watching how many he is prescribing. I have seen this with many of his patients.
