Arrogant and condescending. Absolutely treats people as inferior to himself. It is shameful that someone like this can look after people who are sick. So many people are afraid to complain, because he would be the only option available at the hospital. I doubt very much an attitude like this, cares what the majority of people in the Community thinks of him. Yet, sadly, he is an insult to the majority of Doctors.

His no nonsense approach is valued by those who meet the criteria for emergency care. He is an excellent skilled clinician. A strong patient advocate both locally and provincially. Renfrew County is lucky to have him. He is one of the good ones.

Dr. KD is exactly that… KD. Avoid this guy at all cost he’s also arrogant and condescending to the point where I left the ER feeling worse than when I arrived.

I saw Dr. Davis following a surgery in Ottawa that required me to be hooked up to an IV pump[ 24/7 for 10 days. On Day 9 it the needle came out ad IV stopped going in. I figured it was 9 pm at night and the IV drip was scheduled for removal the next day at 3 ps so I let it slide. I showed up at RVH ER tohave it removed and nurse said the doctor had a followup question for me. A good 30 minutes passed and Dr. Davis came in. He knew me from several previous visits bringing Foster children in and he was great with them. So he pulls out his glasses and looks at my chart and shakes his head I ask him what is wrong. He took off his glasses and gave me the stern dad look and said "I can't find the box to check off stupid. Are you stupid? " I was kind of stunned and not sure what to say. "Cause only stupid people would leave an IV open with a needle out and wait a day and come in to report it..so you have to help me here find a category for stupid." I just laughed and nodded like a bad toddler and said it would not happen again.

I have mixed feelings on Dr. Davis. When my son was a toddler he was covered in hives. He had just started amoxicillin for an ear infection. I brought him into the ER. He told me that because I smoke (even outside) that is why my son has hives. Turned out he was having an allergic reaction to his antibiotics. When my son was older, he was covered in posion ivy and he was the only doctor who took it seriously. His entire face was covered and it was spreading into his ears at that time. He fixed him right up!
