The most caring, compassionate, and thorough Dr I've had in my 68 yrs of life. Never has a doctor listened or taken so much time to truly understand my health problems. He used every bit of his medical knowledge to help me alleviate all my pain, from specialist in Chatham,to med Marijuana. This good dr.never stopped trying to help me . So thank you Dr. Vanderzwan from the bottom of my heart. You are the best!!

He treated me at Emergency and I found him to be kind and professional. I was afraid to go back to Strathroy hospital because of a previous experience but Dr. Vanderzwan was very helpful.

Dr. Vanderzwan is a compassionate physician. He has no problem referring if needed and I couldn’t be happier that he has moved out of the Strathroy Medical Clinic. His front line staff and nurse are amazing!

Only commenting because when I looked up the spelling of his name for a letter he needed from me. This site popped up and I saw the negative commment and was unsettled. I have found Dr. V to be open to continual learning (e.g. medical marijuana). Don't we all want to be improving, thinking creatively throughout our professions? While efficient with time, he is empathetic and listens. He is the best GP I have ever had for being collaborative in health care - for the big issues and day to day health care.

Dr. Vanderzwan has been been my GP for a number of years now. I have always found him most helpful and knowledgeable. When I got my cancer diagnosis he was there for me and expedited my treatment and referrals. He has also been a fine doctor for more routine matters. Contrary to other reviewers, I have always found him to be most empathetic. His nurse, Sandy, is wonderful.

If I could give him a zero I would. Doesn’t know anything, rushes through patients, and has no empathy. Doesn’t care if he gives you the wrong diagnosis as long as he can move onto the next patient. Find it hard to believe anyone could possibly say something positive about him...

Amazing family doctor. My daughter and I have been his patient for many years. And he has always been so knowledgeable and caring. He even called me after hours from his home with test results to set my mind at ease.

It’s ironic that he is more involved with marijuana than traditional medicine. His checkups are only a blood test and do not expect him to care too much. He just shows up.

Have you ever had a Doctor that has phoned you at home at 9:22 pm ON HIS DAY OFF with results from a blood test that were way too high and get you to a specialist the net day....
He the greatest and doesn't stop until you are ok ?? if he can't get you into a specialist in town or London he sent me to Sarnia or Chatham. He gets things done quick. Could not say enough good things about him. Have been seeing him for 11 years age 62 Male
