Friendly staff and a genuine, caring doctor. He treated my veins which had been bugging me for years.

Highly unprofessional and unsanitary environment. Vein clinic trying to go high end cosmetic clinic. Failing miserable. The woman at the front Megan spends more time talking with her mom on the phone than attending to patients. She’s a busy body and quite disorganized. His wife is the ‘nurse’ and she is strange to say the least (aka creepy comic book nurse type) who seems very possessive (hovers constantly) of her husband instead of behaving in a professional manner. Not sure if she’s a registered nurse. She lacks any medical knowledge. He did an ok job on one procedure but botched the other badly and refused to correct his mistake. When I asked for the correction they told me to go see another doctor. Don’t go here for cosmetic procedures. They are clueless and unsanitary. Go see him at your own risk. Expect Drama and sub par service.

Never going back. Went for a consult about a varicose vein. He took my medical history and proceeded to lecture me about my bipolar medication (prescribed by an actual psychiatrist) as well as a lecture and rude comments about my choice of birth control. As a person who performs cosmetic procedures, he had no idea what a mastopexy is (breast lift). Beware, he is not a vascular surgeon or plastic surgeon but performs services that should be rendered by recognized surgeons. He wanted to book another appt for $100 to map my vein with ultrasound - which was provided free at the first appt I'd had with my vascular surgeon years ago (now retired). I'm getting another referral. This doctor asks things and discusses things that are none of his business. He strikes me as a quack looking for increased billings. Super rude, condescending and inappropriate. From previous comments, sounds like his work is sloppy as well.

Like another poster here I went to Dr. Strauts for broken capillaries on my face. He burned my face with a laser and now I have six permanent scars on my face. This guy is a crook and a creep. Don't give him your business.

My name is Heather, I have been a client of Doctor Strauts for over 12 years. I originally went to him for "spider veins" that for me were very unsightly and made me very self consciousness when wearing skirts or shorts. I have continued to be a client for other needs as the years have gone by for Botox and Filler. I have always felt welcomed, compfortable which is hard for as I am extremely private and do not leave the house without makeup! Doctor Strauts answers all my questions and doesn't give me what I don't need. He is honest, upfront, thorough and I have total trust and confidence in him. I have recommended him to family and friends...infact two of my friends who are very particular have gone to see him in the last month and are very happy! Megan who is his assistant is extremely helpful, accommodating, flexible and makes me feel like family when I walked through their front door. I would not even consider going anywhere else! My experience at this office over the years has always been great. The office has a relaxed atmosphere which I enjoy. Staff are friendly, not high pressure and very accommodating.
The appointments have been been mostly on time within a short time of time booked.
I appreciate that Dr Strauts does not rush through the appointment. I fully appreciate that if a doctor has to spend a bit more time with the previous patient or someone before me is late that it is difficult to keep the appointment exactly on time. If I am pressed for time, I announce that on arrival.
Over the years, I have travelled out to his office because I get excellent advice, no bs/fluff, treatments recommended are not superfluous and per my interests/condition. As far as I know, he is well respected by his peers, chairside manner, sense of humor and knowledge ("salt of the earth" type,). He knows his research and keeps current, so any questions I asked him, I trust his answers.
As for botox, although I don't get that particular treatment, I do know other doctors who do that treatment that are older than Dr Strauts. I my opinion - a health care providers chronologic age is not factor in doing or suggesting/recommending certain treatments. I know Doctors in their late 60's & early 70's still working because they really enjoy their work and they look after their health.
Overall, excellent Dr.

Dr. Strauts left me with permanent scarring on my face from a laser treatment that was supposed to get rid of broken blood vessels.
