I decided to go to Dr. Dan after reading glowing reviews about him. My experiences with him have been less than great. I have found that he does not listen. He asks questions, never waits for the answers, and then gives a script. On one visit, I tried to share what I was experiencing (seeing things that weren't there) and he was rude about it, didn't want to hear it, seemed bored. I left his office near tears and with no help from his expertise whatsoever. On my next visit (yes, I went back), he again was uninterested and only wanted me to sign form after form. On the way out of his office, he asked me IN THE HALLWAY AND IN FRONT OF OTHERS if I was still seeing things. I was embarrassed. I've been looking for another doctor and they are not easy to find. I've talked with other people that used to see Dr. Dan and have found that their experiences were very similar to mine. Very discouraging.

Dr. Dan is a very good doctor. He listens and is compassionate. However he is really booked up all the time but that is because he is very dedicated to his work and the people he sees. If you are pregnant or nursing and need to see him he is very precautious about prescribing any medications. He is very empathic and will do what ever it takes to help you.

Dr. Dan saw Robert(ROB) Franklin Harris as an open case Tuesday July 3, 2012. Dr. Dan immediately saw that Rob was in crisis and was able to have Rob admitted that very day. I am great uncle from Commerce, Texas area. Rob has been under the care of my brother Bob and his wife Phyl since Rob was 5 years old & Rob is 30 now. Rob's gma Phyl died recently and his gpa Bob health has required that he be housed in Ga. War Veterans home in Milledgeville, Ga. So Rob who has been treated by Dr. Dan previously has become basically desperately homeless. Rob had been staying at a derelict, no electricity, and a dysfunctional house with his alcoholic father. Rob was so scared that his B.P. was over 200. I was totally impressed with Dr. Dan's handling of this case that I considered it a miracle as my brother has been trying to get Rob to accept a group house situation. My brother loved Rob too much and was never able to help Rob to be self sufficient. Rob's ADD and other poor choices have cost Bob.

This is a very compassionate physician who listens and actually takes time to talk to his patients. He is also knowledgable and uses the most current treatments for his patients.
