Dr Hooper is extremely kind and patient. I had to travel over three hours to the hospital to have emergency retinal surgery on a Sunday. We are very fortunate to have him. Saved my sight calmed me down and answered all questions.

Was a referral from tillsonburg with steel in my eye , I was taken in immediately evaluated and scheduled for surgery the same afternoon. I didn’t imagine that we had a world class facility in our back yard, staffed with the most efficient and caring professionals I have had the pleasure of dealing with. For no time was I concerned about my health or expectations to follow. Thank you to the entire team at St. Joseph’s hospital for the best in hospital experience I have had.

Dr Hooper has saved my vision! As a type one diabetic my treatment for my retinopathy was intense but over the years he has saved my vision. Very knowledgeable and courteous, but tells you how it is and what to expect. I have the utmost respect for him both as a person amd a doctor! If you have been referred to him count your blessings!

Dr. Hooper is truly an amazing eye surgeon...As I was referred to the Ivey Eye Clinic from Kitchener Dr. Hooper and his amazing treated me for a detached retina..He is so caring and dedicated as a health professional words cannot express my gratitude to this man. Within the span of a day and one half I was seen and he scheduled the surgery the following morning . I have regained my sight in my right eye and will see him in 10 days for a follow up visit...Again many thanks to his incredible staff and support I received in my recent visit ..

Had the pleasure of being referee to Dr. Phil. L.Hooper. He is a very pleasant knowledgeable and pleasant Dr. I felt very much at ease while he did a detached retina surgery on my eye. He explained exactly what the procedure was going to be and talked to me as he was operating which made me very confident in him . My surgery was very successful and I was very pleased with his professionalism. His staff are very friendly and polite. They can't do enough for their patients.

My experience with Dr. Hooper has been excellent. A caring and compassionate professional who has put in a LOT of time treating my condition.
