I cannot more highly recommend Dr John, he as an outstanding care giver. We've seen probably a couple dozen doctors between Calgary and the Bow Valley, and he stands far above the rest. After moving from another country with a different healthcare system, I had some issues adjusting to everything. Dr. Michalyshyn helped me navigate the ins and outs of the system, and has provided me with the best care of any doctor I've been to. I never feel rushed, or that I don't have his full attention throughout every visit. He takes great care to listen and never minds answering the "doorknob questions". Dr. John was my family physician for about 33 years. The quality of care my family and I received from him and his staff was nothing short of exceptional. He always had the time to listen, seek a resolution, then thoroughly explain everything. I only stopped seeing him after I moved to Calgary and found transportation to Canmore an issue. Were it not for that, he would still be my physician today. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Michalyshyn to anyone seeking top level care in the Bow Valley, and have done so on many occasions. You'd be hard pressed to find anyone better. I give him top marks in all areas of his practice. Dr. Michalyshyn is also an understanding, warm and welcoming individual with the ability to put you at ease in most any situation, professionally or personally.

Dr Michalyshyn is what I like to respectfully refer to as an " old school " Doctor. He 's like a detective searching for the root causes of what ails you. He's compassionate , intelligent , thorough and kind. We are very blessed to have such wonderful doctors in the valley but Dr m is the icing on the cake.

Hands down the best doctor in the Valley! Been a patient of his for over a decade. Knowledgeable, thorough, and excellent bedside manner. I can't recommend him highly enough! Dr. Michalyshyn is an exceptional family physician. Both myself and my spouse have been seeing him for years. He always takes the time to address all of our concerns during an appointment, and doesn't try to hurry us along and out the door.
