I’ve had this doctor for over 30 years. This doctor no longer is interested in his family practise. He rarely is at the office and when he is you can’t get an appointment for monthIs. I no longer make appointments to see him and have used walk in clinics for years. During COVID-19 I had a follow up check up for my son and the appointment was over the phone. I had written the date and time on a paper and entered the information on my phone. The day came and no phone call. The next day he called. This happened twice over a two year span. This tells me he lacks interest in family care and why should I care either. If you’re looking for a doctor I recommend find ing anyone other than this guy. Our health care system has made it so difficult to find another doctor that you’re forced to stay with a doctor who lacks interest in his profession. He should retire and find someone who actually likes caring for families.

if you are a woman GOOD LUCK getting a diagnosis or plan for care for any medical issue from this doctor.
He has been my families doctor for most of my life and only the men of my family receive proper, informed care.
I have brought different issues to this doctor and he has literally laughed at me on more than one occasion, is usually 30minutes late or doesn’t call at all, told me that there “isn’t much he can do for me anymore”, said was flat out wrong about side effects I was having from medication he put me on, and he has left my file so incomplete it will be useless to future practitioners I need to share my medical history with.

My mother, grandmothers, and I have all been neglected by this doctor as he does NOT take the concerns of women seriously. However, my younger brother has always received speedy, attentive care.

If I could find literally any other doctor I would have left him years ago.

Dr Steacie on a scale of 1-10 is a 10. He listens to you, you are never rushed during your appointment and if needed he will refer you on to specialists. He takes the time and goes out of his way to care for his patients. I have been a patient of Dr Steacie for over 30 years. His staff is excellent. In my opinion I couldn’t ask fora better family physician.

Dr. Adam Steacie is one of those rare Dr’s that immediately makes you feel comfortable and important. He’s not only knowledgeable, patient (especially with my 83 year-old mother) and kind, he goes out of his way to help you and provides a clear explanation for medical conditions. His staff is excellent (personality) and always follow up. I’ve had many different doctors over the years (including other province’s) and he’s by far the best.

Dr. Steacie is a superb family physician . He has a very high intellect, but does not hesitate to seek collateral information if or as required. He has the natural ability to patiently focus on your appointment, and to take all the time required, regardless of how busy he may be. I trust him implicitly with my family's health care needs. We are fortunate to have him as our doctor.

Dr Steacie has been my family doctor since I was 13 years old. I am now 44. He is my daughter's doctor, my parents doctor, and we would have no one else but him. He cares, takes time to ask questions, remembers things without having to ask. He will find the right answer. He has become a confidant over the last 25 years. I don't know where I would be without him.
