I just had a signature Dr. Drummond colonoscopy and it was an absolute breeze, even though I presented him with a couple challenges most doctors likely don't face every day. First, I was apparently a bit dehydrated from the prep and all the veins in my hands were hard to find, let alone start an IV. No problem, Dr. Drummond found one anyway and hit it on the first try. Second, I had some previous issues with Versed, one of the most frequently used medications for this procedure. Again no problem; Dr. Drummond substituted Propofol and everything went just fine. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. They carefully explained everything in advance--no surprises. I would definitely see Dr. Drummond and staff for this procedure again.

I suffered in pain for several months only to find out Dr. Drummond misdiagnosed me. He told me I had a fairly common back problem and that I'd just have top live with the pain and that nothing else was wrong. First of all he didn't even run the correct test and secondly he made up a diagnosis and sent me out the door beleiving I had to just live in this pain for the rest of my life. Due to the pain increasing I went for a second opinion and an immediate MRI to find out I need an operation and have had to sell my business leaving my wife and I unemployed. My son was in the week previous with tummy pains for over two months and Dr. Drummond told us it was an emotional problem....after a visit to the children's hospital we now know our son has a lactose intolerance.

This person is a condescending, disgrace for a doctor. His assumption that a patient would not have knowledge or input from other medical professionals leaves him appearing self-important and deluded. I sensed that he cared little for the anguish I was in, and stinks like cigarette smoke.

This has been my family's doc for 17 years. He is the best for punctuality and has great staff. He is very knowledgable and on several occasions uncovered problems that others have missed. He has been the driving force behind many of the health services that we have in stettler. Some don't understand his humor, but once you do, it actually really helps to put you at ease.

I arrived in th E.R with a full blown Grande Mal siezure and was sent to Red Deer to see a psyc.He told them I was faking it and had substance abuse problems, ironic less then 2 months later I was admitted to the neurology unit for eight days and several tests later was told I have some brain damage and tonic/clonic epilepsy.Thank god for Dr.Weib(a brilliant doctor)I used to pick up for Drummond as to the various rumours circulating around town,NEVER AGAIN!!!!!He is the worst specimen of a Dr.I have ever seen.He should be ashamed of how he treats his patients,I am happy for the ones he has been kind to but to the others you have my sympathy.Calgary Foothills bless you

I moved to Stettler a short while ago, and Drummond was the only doctor accepting patients. I had a large growth that I suspected was a hernia, and as such I went to Drummond. When I saw him, he confirmed that it was in fact a hernia and then told me that he would arrange an appointment with a surgeon, and left it at that. He did not bother to give me a timeframe when I would see the surgeon, nor did he give me any advice to alleviate the pain and swelling caused by the hernia, he only tried to push pain-killers on me, which I try to avoid as I come from a family with a history of addictions. Simply put, unless it's something very serious, I wan't bother going to him.

Do your homework before you see this guy, especially if you are expecting a baby. Twice he perscribed me antibiotics for a UTI while I was pregnant that could have caused miscarriage and fetal abnormalities.
