I saw Dr Bains three or four times before he retired. I never knew which mood I would find him in. Usually nasty. He needed to retire.

He’s a dangerous man when it came to surgery. Very rough, caused damaged to my eye permanently. Good thing I stopped the surgery on the second eye. He wasn’t to happy with that one bit. Thanks to him, my eye sight is worse. He needs to be removed and his license provoked. Definitely he doesn’t have your interest in mind.

Dr. Baines removed cataracts on both eyes & replaced with lens, two years apart. Both times he & staff were excellent in all areas! I highly recommend!

It is interesting to see how the ratings go from one end of the scale to the other. Had my cataracts dealt with by Dr. Bains during the Covid crisis and even with that extra stressor, Dr. Bains and his staff could not be more professional, pleasant and helpful. The same goes for the Clinton hospital, top notch people.

Time for this man to quit. Clearly he hates his job and people in general. Retire! Horrible customer service. Zero bedside manner. Treats his clients terribly once he has your money 👎🏼

Since having a cateract removed / my husband has had nothing but trouble. His eye sight is poorer than before he had this done

HORRIBLE after care. I was verbally abused and my concerns were dismissed. He stormed out of the exam room and told me to see an optometrist. He takes your money then treats you like garbage. I will NOT refer this man.

Dr Bains is competent but was somewhat impatient and aggressive in his handling of my problem. He overly lasered me for high eye pressure causing what I feel and although he wont admit it, one of the specialists I was forced to go to after my vision sharply deteriorated after the lasering. Birds of a feather you know.

Very pleased with my cataract pre-op, surgery and post surgery. Treated very well by Dr Bains and his staff. Everyone was welcoming, friendly and respectful from the first appointment all the way through. Based on my results and experience am rating Dr. Bains and his team very highly!
