This doctor delivered all 3 of my daughters...she was GREAT!!! I had fast (scary) deliveries with my second 2 and she helped us through every step of the way! Made me feel comfortable and both my husband and I feel confident.

She delivered our first child back , found out in the delivery room that she was not for pain relief during childbirh . My baby had ti turn which was the most painful experience and I was screaming for some kind of pain releif...she directly said No to myself husband and my mother and went on "telling my baby to turn . the most horrible experience. After our baby was born the nurses even asked us how we liked Whitley. They were not too impressed with her either. We never went back to her for our second child. Research your doctors!

Dr.Whitley delivered our second child. I found her bed side manner horible. She didn't even bother to show up for my C-section until they were almost done stitching me up. It made me feel scared and disappointed. I thought she was going to see my pregnancy through to delivery, I was very let down

My experience with this Dr was something very awful and ultimately, sad. My Dr doesn't deliver babies so I was passed to Dr Whitley in my 3rd trimester. At first, I liked her and things were going well, she seemed to answer all my questions and we seemed to be "on the same page" in terms of the childbirth experience/drugs/epidurals etc. Long story short, after 27 hrs of HARD labour, the nurse very strongly suggested they call in an OB/GYN and FAST. If it wasn't for this nurse, I feel my baby would have died. Dr Whitley was INSISTENT that I have a natural childbirth (not at all what was dicussed before due date) at ALL COSTS. My baby was in distress, I was in distress ... and to this date, it gives me shivers and tears at the same time if I think ahout it too long (and that was quite a few years ago). I am thankful to the nurse who took charge. I am thankful to the Lord that all turned out OK. Dr W seemed different at the hosp than in her office. Sad experience.

I have Dr. Whitley for my 'yearly women's exam' and I would request her again. She is very gentle and I was not once uncomfortable during the exam. She took the time to explain everything to me as she went and was patient with me also. She also took the time to discuss certain issues with me afterwards and I did not feel rushed, only listened to.

Dr. Whitley has an amazing gift for delivering babies. Yes she is quirky but she is willing to try the route less harmful rather than most convinient for her. I belive she is no longer practicing but I would go to her if I didn't have a midwife.

Dr. Whitley delivered our second daugther, and I felt she was very compassionate. She was also my family dr, before she went exclusively into obstetrics. I really appreciated her.

Dr Whitley delivered my first son. Unfortunatly she was on leave when I had my second. She is easy going, relaxed and down to earth. She was also very compassionte when helping my husband and I through a miscarriage. I couldn't have asked for more from a doctor. To sum her up in a word would be HUMAN! I've moved out of province and miss her dearly.
