Dr Smith was my OB for 33 years. Couldn't ask for a better Dr . Very kind and knowledgeable. Always was willing to give you the best care, whether it was during pregnancies or other health issues. He will be truly missed but hope he enjoys his well-deserved retirement.

Dr. Smith was my OB for my first pregnancy, he was so kind, helpful and walked me through everything he was doing. His staff was friendly and helpful. I went into labour during the night and went to the hospital early in the morning, Dr. Smith came to see me first thing in the morning and checked on me multiple times throughout the day. At the end of his day he came to speak with me to tell me he was not on call for the evening, wished me the best and that he would be back in tomorrow morning to check on me. While we were having this conversation the nurse said that I was ready to push and Dr. Smith kindly offered to stay even though he was technically done for the day and not on call that evening. He was calm and had a fantastic bedside manner through my delivery. He returned the next day to check on us first thing in the morning. I am currently pregnant and sad that he is retiring and can’t be my OB this time, but I wish him all the best and I’m so grateful for his care during my first pregnancy.

Excellent in person service, same day referral! Excellent bedside manner. Absolutely would recommend - wonderful gynaecologist, sad he will be retiring in the near future

Dr. Smith did 3 of my 4 csections & also a DNC. I cannot say enough good things about him. He’s patient, personable & kind. He did a fantastic job with my scars & suturing- in fact, many people can’t even tell I’ve had csections. Every csection gets a bit riskier, & it was such a peace of mind to have a seasoned veteran & exceptional doctor in my corner. We most recently moved out of province, & I am literally devastated thinking I have to find another OB. I would consider driving back just to stay with Dr. Smith!

Anything he didn't, know he is willing to put in the hours to make sure you are in the best of care. You can ask him anything, even embarrassing things, he is so kind Sadly he was on vacation he had booked a year in advance when both of my children were born over a week early!

Dr Smith delivered 7 of my 8 kids!! He was and is the best. Caring, thoughtful, there when you need him. Never wanted another Gyno. He is just the best!

Dr Smith was the on call doctor and delivered my daughter. He was very nice and made me feel comfortable it was a good experience and my recovery had been amazing. I would recommend dr Smith.
