minus 10 rating if he disliked you he showed it he liked to push pills on my hubby
there is so much i could say but i am not going to start anything here so happy he is not in practice anymore

It would rate day to day, some days he was very helpful and pleasant, other days I would say he was short with me very tired and angry. I feel like from day one,he has been like that.I have been with him for four or five years and I still haven't gotten to about 70% of what is wrong with me looked at and well I feel like the easiest way for him to treat my pain was to push pills on me,well its been four years since he has put me on oxys,and now I'm so dependent on them I'm not sure I'm ever going to get off,now just recently he is retiring due to his wife dying in may,he has still not been back since then and he had his secretary call me and cancel my appointment and told me that he would be back in the new year to just go to the emerg to get my perceptions filled until he came back. then I find out he is retiring and has left me with no med to stay me off till i find a new doc, and man is that frustrating.Not the greatest doc hopefully retirement is better for you.

Very, very pompous and useless when it comes to organizing his day. Examples of different appointments: 1) I was the first patient and was already late. 2) Was in cry baby mode and was jut plain ignorant. 3) Another appointment I was very ill and hurt all over and he had to do some tests which made him even more late and irate---Our conversation ended with him talking while writing a prescription “Shut up. Don’t talk. I’m serious. Shut up I don’t want to here a word---5, 4, 3, 2, 1.” Then he tapped his pen hard on the clip board and handed me my prescription and walked out. Poor baby was tired and couldn’t answer a couple questions. Consequently, I did not fill the prescription and did not go for blood work---that was mid 2011 and I still don’t feel better Feb 2012. This guy should not be a doctor---people go to a doctor to feel better---not worse. I was too sick to respond. I’m fed up with Dr. Vance.

Dr.Vance has been my doctor for many, many years. I have never had a problem. The staff always get me in when I need to and he is always great with me. I have no issues against him. He likes you to be precise and clear on what is going on...I like that too..I think he is a great doctor!!!

REFERRED TO VANCE BY MY MD FOR A VASECTOMY. PROCEDURE WAS DONE IN THE OFFICE. HE BOTCHED THE SURGERY SEWING MY TUBE TO MY SCROTUM AND USED UNDESOLVING STICHES ON THE INSIDE INSCISSION, THE WOUND WOULD NOT HEAL, SAW HIM 2ND TIME TO FIX THE PROBLEM, COMPLICATED THE SITUATION EVEN MORE, CAUSING AN INFECTION. SAW HIM A 3RD TIME TO HAVE STICHES RESEWN, SAW HIM A 4TH TIME TO HAVE THE PROCEDURE FIXED, AND EXPERINCED THE MOST PAINFUL AND BRUITAL HANDLING IN A 40 MINUTE SESSION OF HACK A SLASH....IT WAS SO HORRENDOUS THAT HIS ASSISTANT SCREAMED AND RAN FROM THE ROOM AS HE CUT FLESH FROM ME. 24 HRS LATTER I WAS IN THE ER, SEVERLY BRUISED AND BLOODY, WITH A GRAPEFRUIT SIZED SWELLING IN MY CROTCH. LIFE THREATING BLOOD CLOTS & GAPING WOUND, REQUIRED IMMEDIATE SURGERY....ALMOST LOST MY PARTS. THE SCAR TISSUE IS SO BAD, THAT AT THIS TIME, NO OTHER MD WILL ATTEMPT CORRRECTIVE SURGERY. HE IS A ****!

This has to be the worst Dr in Sudbury, he is a pill pusher who is rude and really does not seem to care if the health issue is fixed. If there was a doctor who is taking patients I would go there. Anyone looking for a doctor beware because this one is horrible !

Often smells like liquor and doesn't like receiving medical suggestions. My wife is a er nurse and gave me a list of things that could help with my issues when I presented the list to him and tossed it out and did nothing for me. I've presented a few things to him before all those consult a doctor if this could be right for yous never seem to be right according to him and my problems persist.

It doesn`t matter where you go, you are going to wait. It is not just Dr. Vance`s office. He has been my doctor for almost 29 years and he has helped me and he is very caring. With the lack of doctors and how swamped he gets I can guess that he would have a bad day or two. He is human. I`m sure he has dealt with his fair share of bs with patients so I think he deserves a break. I think he is a great doctor and a great man!!

in the 20 yrs I've been with Dr. Vance I have never waited more then 1 hr for an appointment. True, like EVERY other gp he is over booked, but a lot of that has to do with idiot patients who are too cheap to buy their Claritan off the shelf, or those who have problems sticking with thier treatments (ie stop taking meds, got worse, had to go back to doctor, rinse and repeat). Though the wait may be long, we are are ALL lucky he is open hearted enough to take on the challenge of so many people who OTHERWISE WOULDN'T HAVE ANYONE. People complain about his patience, well it would be ignorant not this consider he's over worked, ****y patients who think they are the only importanat patient there that day , and (oh my gosh) A HUMAN. People have been puting doctors on this retarded pedistel. Dr. Vance has been a super doctor and has never made me feel stupid over my concerns. RIGHTFULLY he has had to put me in my place. And I'm certain he had every right to put you in yours. EB
