This man should not be dealing with the public. He actually had the nerve to tell me during childbirth that I "sucked at pushing". I wanted to ask him if he wanted to trade places with me. This is an insensitive creep of a so called doctor and I do not recommend him to anyone that is interested in a compassionate physician at your bedside.

Jacobson delivered my daughter in 1994.Actually I delivered my daughter and he just watched.During the last prenatal appts. he was repeating over and over NOT to call him until my contractions are 5 minutes apart for an hour. He repeated this so many times that I got the real meaning "don't bother him" he was very patronizing and treated me like a hysterical first time Mother, which I was not.Four days before my due date, at 9PM, my water broke and the contractions went straight to 2 minutes apart. There was a bad snow/ice storm outside and we were 30 miles from the hospital.I called him to tell him I was going to leave for the hospital and he didnt believe me that I was in labor. His exact words were "If you have this baby by 7AM you win the prize". My daughter was born 6 hours later, needless to say, no prize from him, just sarcasm and bored looks from the stool he sat in across the room while I pushed for almost 2 hrs.I chose not to use him for my son.BEWARE OF HIS GOD COMPLEX !!

This man yelled at me as soon as he walked into the room! I didn't find out I was pregnant till I was already 6 months along and had recently missed an appointment due to my whole family being sick and he yelled at me and was very demeaning when I was trying to explain what happened. He treated me like I was 15 years old and missed curfew and got caught by the police or something. What an F'n jerk. When I told him I didn't want an amniocentisis due to the miscarriage risk involved he cursed at me and said what I read was wrong! He used several profanities while we were talking. And this was the first time I had ever seen this doctor. Luckily, I stood up for myself and yelled back at him. Don't go unless you like being treated like a bad teenager! Stupid Jerk!

I've been going to Dr. Jacobson for a number of years and I find him easy to talk to. No matter how busy he is, it never seems like he's trying to "rush" you out so he can move on to the next patient. I like him.

I have been a patient for 20+ years through all types of medical issues with Dr. Jacobson. He was very thoughtful when I delivered my child even at the last minute when a c-section was needed. Even after a long night of deliveries he still had his "bed side manners."

I am sorry, but I cannot support the last comment mentioned. He poses the suggestion of C-section only if he deems it necessary. In my point of view, he is the only one who displays any "personality" at Hans Associates. If you think he's bad, you should have met Dr. Rosen when he was with the establishment. It takes way more effort, skills and patience to assist a patient in a cesarean delivery. Everyone is entitled to a "bad" day. But I can't imagine Dr. Jacobson making an inappropriate or harmful decision just because he wasn't in the "mood. He delivery my first child in 1998 and I personally requested him for my son in 2003..(to which he wasn't available since I went in early"...I suffered from high blood pressure and was extremely nervous and scared, yet Dr. Jacobson made my experience comforting and was very reassuring. No complaints on my end, sweetie. Go Dr.J and please stick with DCMH as long as life's potentials allow you to...Respectfully, JTB

Dr. Jacobson used profanity and shook his fist in my face to coerse me into a c-section when I arrived to the hospital fully dialated attempting to give birth. There was nothing wrong with the baby, there was nothing wrong with me. Dr. Jacobson just wasn't in the mood to be helpful that day. Horror stories abound about this man's horrendous bedside manner. STAY AWAY!!!!!
