he is very good at what he does. I had a son with CP was was wonderful with him. My second son is very shy and doctor Dan is so good with him. He can get him to talk to him no problem. I do find him a little expensive and the wait times for dental work are long but worth the wait and money to have kids that arent scared of the dentist . my preschooler has seen him a couple times and has no fears.

This was not a good experience for me and my daugther. To long of wait times to get in, needed a tooth pulled because it was a 6month wait list for cavity that got infected and then waited another month for emergency removal of the tooth. Still on the wait list for another cavity that can't get in till March. Any recommendations of another child dentist in Regina for children??

NOT IMPRESSED! Was told Dr.Avram was the ONLY dentist to work on young kids, so I took my son to see him. Turned out my son needed two fillings and was placed on an 18 MONTH wait list to get into the OR. Because he was so young, he needed to go under general. When the decay became worse, I took him back hoping to get in quicker. His totally unfriendly front-line staff told me there was no way to move up. I told her that my son was going to lose his teeth before he go in. She didn't seem to care and had no suggestions for where else I could take him. She also told me there were 740 kids ahead of my son! I eventually heard of another female dentist in town who worked on young kids. I called her and got my son in on the SAME day. Within a month he'd had his work completed and b/c she saw him so soon, she was able to save him from losing teeth. Dr. Avram and his staff are obviously greedy for cash and willing to see young kids suffer on waitlists. Plus his rates are WAY over the standard!

Dr. Daniel C Avram is my childrens dentist, he is a wonderful dentist and my children really like him. The problem I have is with his rates, he charges way above what the CDA fee schedule allows for reimbursement on your claim with your insurance company. For example my one son has ADHD and needs sedation for procedures, this is Procedure 92432 in the fee schedule, the amount that you are eligible is $46.00, Dr. AQvram has charges me $160.00. There in my mind is no reason that a patient is being charged three times what you sre eligible to claim. I am also confused to why this fee schedule even exists if Dentists are allowed to charge whatever they choose. I hope that Dr. Avram looks at the importance of oral health and how some people cannot attain it because they cannot afford it and this is why.

I was refered to Dr Avram by my doctor and was not impressed! He did not explain any thing to me at all. The lady at the front desk was very unhelpful and rude to say the least! Due to my daughter being very sick the day of my sons appointment I called the office and told the lady that I would not be able to make my sons appointment that day. She said no problem and about 1 hour later another lady called me and told me that I was no longer welcome to see Dr. Avram due to the fact that I missed his appointment. She would not let me explain that I had all ready called before she hung up. Thank goodness I have found a wonderful dentist for my 2 children!

Dr. Avram is amazing with children! My toddler was terrified of the dentist she had been seeing-but due to Dr. Avram's great skills with children she did amazing! I wish my dentist would have referred us to him sooner! He is very professional yet caring and calm. I would highly recommend him to anyone with children!

I have taken both my children to see Dr. Avram and they both have had excellent results. He is open to discussion on treatment and takes the time to explain exactly what he is going to do. My oldest son is 5 and he has no fear whatsoever of going to the dentist.

Dr. Avram is a wonderful dentist, my children enjoy actually going to their dental appointments.He always explains completly if treatment needs to be done and has never done treatment that is not needed.I'm not sure what some of these other people are talking about that unnecessary treatment was done their child, I just don't beleive that! I would recommmend Dr. Avram's office to anyone with children, especially if they are apprehensive of dental offices.His staff is also knowlegdeable and very friendly.Keep up the good work!!

My children have been going to Dr. Avrum for 8 yrs. They absolutely love him and look forward to going ( how many kids want to go to the dentist!!!) As a parent I really appreciate his knowledge and dedication to healthy teeth as that is very important to me. He has always taken the time to talk to me about any concerns I may have. He makes the kids feel so important and proud when they have a perfect check -up. To me, he is the professional and any work he feels should be done is necessary - I don't have a dental degree. To sum it up -we absolutely love him! (his staff are awesome too)

We have gone to Dr Avram for several years. My daughter has had a lot of work done, and has been put under in his office to have that done. Recently, we were told she would need additional surgery. Dr. Avram was very discrete with her so not to scare her; however, his abrasive receptionist announced this to my daughter and the whole waiting room. I was disgusted by her uncaring attitude. This attitude is nothing new with her. I hate the sound of her voice when she calls to remind us of the appointments. I am also beginning to question whether this new additional work is necessary. I will be getting a second opinion.
