The Doctor is very professional & does seem to have your best interest at heart. What I didn't like was the wait time. You were NEVER seen under a hour. They regularly ran more then 2 hours BEHIND schedule. It was not uncommon for patients to be there for up to 4 hours. They schedule 3 patients per appointment so even if you showed up early you will never get out of there under 2 hours. The part that I could not believe is that they start scheduling patients at 8:30 AM, but the Doctor usually doesn't get to the office before 10:00 AM. So, the earliest you will see the Doctor is an hour and a half after you arrive, even if you only came for a consult, and if you were the first to arrive of the other patients that was scheduled for that same time slot. That is also, if there is no other emergency that occurred during his rounds at the hospital. The worst part is when the doctor's wife sits in the reception office, who is very RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL, especially to pregnant women!

Dr Christensen was my high-risk ob. I delivered my baby girl on 3/23/09. He is truly the most wonderful man and doctor I have ever come across. I was very high risk bc of my blood pressure. He reassured me every day that I would be ok and so was my baby. He was right! I would recommend this Dr to anyone who will listen. He not only made sure that I was ok physically, but emotionally as well. I was a wreck! I thank God every day for Dr. Christensen and his staff for helping me through my pregnancy.

I was referred to Dr Al-Malt and ended up seeing Dr Christensen for a high risk pregnancy due to my own health issues. So far, while the staff has been mostly terrific, (my big complaint about the staff is that an 8:30 AM appointment, the first one of the day, shouldn't have me getting out of the office close to 11 AM) I'm underwhelmed by Dr Christensen's bedside manner and true knowledge of current research and information about my condition. I'll likely continue to use this practice for the duration of this pregnancy, but if I had another choice for perinatology, I'd seriously investigate whether that practice might better fit my needs as a patient.

Dr. Christensen at the Fetal Diagnostic group is absolutely AWSOME! Both he and Dr. Al-malt took excellent care of me from day one when I was referred to them because of my high risk pregnancy. They were able to save my baby by performing an emergency cerclage (stitching of the cervix) to keep my little one inside before his due date. Overall I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Christensen, as for my delivery, he did an excellent job! I highly recommend Dr. Christensen and the Fetal Diagnostic group.
