My second follow up with Dr. Kunimoto on scalp issue was nothing but insinuation that I'm crazy and it is in my head because the medication he prescribed me could not cause the reaction I explained to him. A little back story, my first time seeing this doctor was okay. He likes to talk about politic, fine I am okay with. At the end of my session with him, I had prescription for my scalp issue. Fast forward few weeks, I contacted his office and informed him that I am experiencing constant headache with the medication. Anyways, I stop using it and recently, I had a follow up appointment with him. He tells me the medication he had prescribed me could not cause headache and it might be psychological…. He think I am crazy….He continued to insist that the medication can not cause headache. So basically, he does not believe me, won’t take my words or concerns. The fact that he had prescribed the medication it should work and that was what I gather from his behaviour. For a doctor who is educated to know that each person reacts differently to medication regardless of their experience and not one size fit all, it is very disappointing to encounter such. How can he help/cure his patients if he does not believe them? I know I will not go back to him again. These type of doctors cause patients to suffer through their conditions long than they should. Disappointing!!!!

Dr. Kunimoto has been very helpful and effective in all of our interactions. Always a pleasure to meet with him. He is friendly, knowledgeable and clearly concerned with his patients.

Had a great experience. I’m a 100s of moles.He was very knowledgeable I had the most up-to-date information. Very respectful and answered all my questions. Unfortunately he’s not taking new patients because he’s so busy. If you get into see him you’re a lucky one.

Dr. Kunimoto is said to be an extremely knowledgeable Doctor, however his attitude and rude behaviour is not only offensive but devasting to patients who are in pain and waiting patiently to get in to see him only to encounter an extremely rude doctor. On the plus side he has a great staff. Find another skin specialist people. One that actually wants to help you and treats you with the respect and dignity everyone deserves.

The rudest doctor and most condescending one I have had the displeasure of undressing for. Well, lets see, in my memory I've never been told to undress in front of a Dr in this way with no offer of a gown or sheet. He did not avert his gaze, he just sat watching and smirking! I was horrified. Steroidal cream prescribed for my rash with no helpful information or apparent interest in determining what the root cause may be. This was a humiliating experience and waste of time in terms of getting help for my skin condition. I will not return. I'm going to a naturopath.

I was worried after reading the reviews, but the staff were very friendly, my appointment was right on time and Dr. Kunimoto was very informative and knowledgeable. He was straight and to the point about moles, melanomas, risks and skin/mole checks.

I approached his room, my face and neck were not telling of eczema any more, however his prescribed cream and worsened my condition all over my body. After thinking that i was better he praises himself to his assistant of how he has a different genius approach to treating eczema. Once it turns out i was not better, in fact worse, he says how his cream doesnt make it worse and passive-aggressively tries to pin my the condition of my skin on me. Basically giving up on me, he sends me off to see UV treatment in 2 months....
