This man had an enormously negative impact on my life. When I was young and still developing, he prescribed me an “off label” medication that was never appropriate for my symptoms, and was known to be both impossible to quit, and deadly when used indefinitely. For over 20 years I took this medication and slowly got sicker both mentally and physically. It wasn't until last year, when I used my retirement savings to get medical assistance tapering off this medication, that my mental and physical health started to significantly improve. These medications (SSRI's, antipsychotics, etc.) reliably make patients worse and the prescribers know this, or at least there's no excuse for them not to because the data is available and abundant, and yet they're still prescribing them. Prescribers aren’t accountable and they’re not there to help pick up the pieces 20 years later when the drugs have ruined their former patients' lives. Thanks a lot "Doctor" Langman! Can I at least get a refund?
