Fantastic lady and fantastic surgeon have had colonoscopy by her .And after the removal of my gallbladder kept my wife informed right after surgery have had no complications at all

Dr. Pereira-Hong is a great physician, but I feel it is important to say: I received a phone call to follow up about important results, called back 4 times in one day, called multiple times over the past few months, always get the answering machine THAT DOES NOT ACCEPT MESSAGES! and they also don't work normal office hours 8-4:30. Please change this, as it is a huge inconvenience for patients. Saying that other Doctor offices do this is not a good response, as most physicians/specialists do have voicemail that accepts messages. Again, great physician, secretary is ok, but please know that it is very difficult to get in touch with the office and my experience has been before and during covid-19.

New to Guelph. Had no reference point for this specialist/surgeon. She is excellent. Clear communicator, efficient, personable, informs patients of all options. Kind, respectful, professional and personable. Glad I am seeing her. Her secretary is also incredibly professional and kind.

Dr. Pereira-Hong just performed my RNY on Friday March 2nd 2018 and did an absolutely phenomenal job. The surgery was so clean and no complications whatsoever! Outstanding! I was up walking laps shortly after waking up from the surgery! I am so grateful that she was assigned to be my surgeon as she was so pleasant, kind and super professional! She doesn’t rush you and she actually cares about her patients. I will never be able to thank her enough for what she has done for me. I thought for sure I was going to be walking away without having my surgery due to a past gallbladder surgery I had that almost cost me my life. But no... this woman made sure I got exactly what I was hoping for. She does not even realize what a true hero she is to so many people! Again I am so very grateful to you Dr Pereira-Hong, and hope you realize how many lives you are saving by the works of your magical hands and expertise! Dr. Pereira Hong was a real professional. She performed the Roux en Y on me and i had zero problems and no complications. I found her to be very caring and charismatic. I come from a family of doctors and I think her level of care would make my family proud. She educates you, answers questions and does not make you feel like an idiot. Pre and Post surgery I saw her a few times and she was very comforting. I was very pleased with her. I hope never to see her again, but if i needed a procedure done, no doubt I'd want her back.
