Dr. Pond and his staff (carol and Mrs Pond) are fantastic. If ratings went to 100- that would have been my answer. He listened to me, and spent the time with me, and agreed that my concerns where founded- Didn't send me home with false hopes. He was honest and didn't **** foot around what was happening. He phoned at home, as promised with information. He was on time, completed emergency surgery, and was fantastic. Follow up appointment he spent 45 minutes answering my questions, and didn't rush me out. I would see him again in a heart beat. Amazing Doctor-

Dr Pond was rude, ignorant, and upsetted me during the last couple months of my pregnancy i had seen 2 dr's during my pregnancy's a bone specialist who diagnosed me with congenital hip dysplasia and said i could not go natural and had to have a c-section and another ob/gyn which also agreed a csection, well my husband got transferred to Timmins withhis company and i found Dr pond! big mistake... on my charts from my prior dr stating about my diagnoses and he said NO you can go natural! the babys head was down i told him i can feel the baby kicking in my pelvic area he diagreed and said No! I had such a bad feeling about this and told him i wanted a csection! sure enough he agreed just to shut me up i suppose! well my son was breech andwith the surgery he left it a war zone! i have had 2 kids afterwards and my dr i have now in sudbut said it was terrible and im lucky i have had more children!!! and i still another surgery!!! I got pregnant when i first moved to timmins from down south. I was refered to Dr. Pond by several ppl from town. he was excellent! Unfortunately my preganacy turned into a miscarriage but Dr. Pond was very kind and re assured me that i would more than likely be able to become pregnant again. He was seemed very concerned about my fears and even called me at home to tell me about the surgery i would need to undergo and answered all my questions. if i still lived in timmins i would without a doubt request Dr. Pond as my OBGYN

very rude and arrogant. Insulted my mother and her choice to see a natural medicine therapist. Also insulted pharmacists calling them all quacks who should be lined up and..well it wasn't nice. He has made severe mistakes with several friends to the extent of losing the babies and requiring major reconstructive surgery...down there! I would not trust him with my pregnancy, do not trust his judgement and can't stand his bedside manner. There are so many other doctors to choose from...i suggest anyone considering pond to do their research first!!

Dr Pond inserted an IUD in me since i was a good candidate he said after checking me out. A month after the IUD, he was checking to see if everything was alright and thats when i said that i was having some discomfort. He then proceeded with his diagnostic stating that the cord inside was too long. NOt a problem he could cut it short. But with the scissors in hand, inside me nonetheless, he kept saying how the cisors aren't long enough. WEll excuse me, but then i got all scared and said don`t do anything cuz i was worried he screw up something and i wouldn`t be able to have kids. Long story short, he tried cutting it with the scissors and he ended up yanking the whole thing out. OUCH! And then he said that i could get another one done for free. HELLO!!! It hurt like hell to get it done. Then it takes a couple months to settle in your uterus. Do I want to redo that all over again? I think not. So i haven`t seen him since!

i cant stand him. he is arrangant and ignorant. Made my wife cry in the office when she told him we were thinking of invitro since we cannot have children naturally. he said it will never work, you guy's cant afford it etc. Bottom line is you guy's will never have children so get use to it or look into adoption. Well Invitro may work with anyone especially with my wife's diagnostic which is she simply doesnt produce eggs(find a donor thats all) and if not due to uterus problems there are surrogates etc so who is he to tell us it wont work and how ignorant telling us we cant afford it. he doesnt know how much i make. Anyways there you go Pond we never gave up and guess what it did work and we will have a child and you certainly wont be the one following my wife through her pregnancy.

Well I love Dr. Pond as a person and gyn, however he made a big mistake when I went into labour that may have killed my baby. I was 35 weeks and started to go into labour. I went to the maternity ward and informed the nurses of this. They called Dr. Pond who informed them that I was most likely mistaken and I could not be in labour because it was too soon. The nurses hooked me up to a machine that clearly showed contractions, so they called his back and he told them to not check my cervix cuz I was wrong. I lived two hours away and there was a snow storm so i didnt want to go home as the nurses were telling me to do, so I fought with them to check me for 2 hours and they kept refusing, so I told them fine but if anything happened it was on Dr. Pond's hands, so the nurse said "Wait one minute" and called Dr. Pond again and then came back and said, "Okay I can check you" When she did I was 5 cm dialated and the plcenta was comming first. Had to have an emergency C-section. Big mistake Dr
