Warning! You won’t get out of her office without spending a minimum of $100 on creams every time you go. She has no personality and spends most of her time on her computer while you are waiting to show her issues. She always asks you what’s wrong versus giving you a body check. And finally as an example of how cheap she is, she convinced me that having laser treatment in her spa would get rid of the many spider veins in my lower legs. I had the treatment and my legs were a bruised mess and I have permanent discoloration in some areas. No veins were removed.
When the person treating me asked Dr. Frankel to look at my legs, Dr. Frankel said the bruising and discoloration were because I must be taking a medication I didn't tell them about or that it was because of poor circulation in my legs. She said they could not perform any more treatments on my legs to help remove the marks. I thought about this and called the person in the spa who performed the treatments and said that I spent $500 in advance for the treatments and felt robbed. I suggested that she give me two laser treatments free of charge on my upper lip to remove some unwanted hair. She said she would speak to Dr. Frankel to get permission, and Dr. Frankel said absolutely no free treatments. I flipped out and the person in the Spa spoke to the head of the clinic (not sure who that was), and he said to give me two treatments on my lip.
That didn’t fix my legs, and Frankel only cares about money and not her patients. By the way, the laser treatment on my upper lip was a maximum of 5 minutes since I have blond hair and laser won’t remove blonde hair. If I could give Dr. Frankel a negative rating, I would. Instead I get to walk around with discolored legs for the rest of my life. Also I read somewhere that she misdiagnosed a patient and had to pay a $1,200 fine and take some classes on identifying cancerous lesions. Google her to verify.

I once saw Dr. Frankel in 2004 as a young teen for a one time visit. Never followed up and "missed an appointment in 2005". Fast forward, 2017 Nov, I had placed a call to book a new patient appointment to see her for a normal skin check up because many people recommended her. So I took the next available appointment which was Feb 22 2017 at 2:20pm. I knew the wait was long but with the holidays around the corner I thought It would fly by, which it did. I went online and printed the new patient info packet and had it all filed out. I showed up at my appointment 20 minutes early and had all my paperwork ready, id, ins card, etc. The front desk could not find my appointment. Then finally I was told it was yesterday 2/21/18 and I had missed it. I was pissed because I patiently waited for this appointment. I was not able to reschedule the apt without paying "25 missed apt fee" I left and told them don't waste the paper bc I wont be paying bill. March 2018 my dad received my bill. WOW! Here I am 28 years old with my own insurance and my dad is getting my bill mailed to him. I called and spoke with the office manager what a joke.... anyways I will glady go to court for these matter. and I would not recommend this doctor or practice to anyone. 25$ is nothing but it is the point and if she can not waive the 25$ she is not a doctor I want to see.

Saw this "Dr" after hearing a few advertisements on the local radio. How wrong I was . After visiting "Dr" Frankel I realized I was in the presence of an individual who cares solely about money and her "business"....not of their patients welfare. Dr. Frankel saw my child for a severe scalp irritation this past September. The "Dr" barely glanced at my ailing daughter, focusing her sole attention on her malfunctioning computer and continually looking at her phone. The "Dr" briefly looked at my child and immediately diagnosed her with "Seborrheic dermatitis", (while chastising my daughters hygiene the entire time ) and tried to pitch her brand of products on my family. After leaving my daughter immediately went into hysterics , asking how the "Skeleton Dr" could be so cruel.

In hindsight will never visit this "Dr" again.

While I asked for a detailed explanation as to why this problem could have occurred the doctor scoffed and immediately stormed out. Do not recommend. Her skeletal , Crypt Keeper like features frightened my beloved child.

Poor service. Terrible bedside banner. For a dermatologist she resembles the "Crypt Keeper" Perhaps she should take better care of her skin???? A joke of someone holding a "MD" degree

Went to her for the start of cysts under my right arm which are actually Hidradenitis Which she diagnosed correctly. HOWEVER since seeing her it has spread to other arm and areas. She sees me every 90 days to say ok how's it going (awful) ok do you need anything from me? Yes for you to help me (I'm in tears from the pain) I don't know how to help you AND you don't want surgery they will just hack you up!!! Fast forward to new dermatologist who has set me up with a plastic surgeon who is going to do the surgery which at this point is the only thing that can be done. I wish I could sue her for the agony she's put me through and her flippant attitude about it for the last year.

I have been a patient of Dr. Frankel's for approximately 7 years. Dr. Frankel is exceptional, a compassionate caregiver, knowledgeable, proactive. The staff in the office setting are very helpful and friendly. As far as timeliness I have never waited more than 10-15 minutes for my scheduled appointment. I am very pleased with my care and would not go anywhere else. I am a registered nurse.

Living proof that you can truly be insane, and hold a medical degree. Dr Frankel has the bedside manner akin to a rattlesnake who feeds on money instead of blood

Went to her office twice several years ago. Never saw her. Saw a nurse who took a biopsy and went back for the results, which were fine. The office was dirty, the exam room was dirty. I would never go back. Went to her office in the first place because it could see me the soonest.

I have been going to see Dr. Frankel for over 15 years and have had to wait long periods of time to see her. She spends very little time with you and for the past two years she has cancelled my appointments two any three times before I can see her. My latest appointment has already been cancelled and I WON'T be going back to see her.
