Everyone reacts differently tp a psychiatrist. Over 30 years of seeing him, and with psychological training myself, I would say that you have a better chance of a good fit with him than other psychiatrists in Spokane

I've been DR Bott patient for a year and their whole staff has been nothing but great to me I have missed so many appointments do to work and traveling out of town for work and they've been understanding and have helping me so much he's very thorough he actually cares I've never once seen him me rude or mean

Rude. Abrupt. Dismissive. These are not qualities one wants from a psychiatrist. Has actually caused me to have panic attacks because I fear interacting with him. Becomes angry if you question him about something he’s said.

I agree with most of the reviews but 1 or 2 are completely different from my experience. I have never seen him be rude, but he can be direct? He has always been pleasant when he comes out to get me and when I have been late, he says something like "I'm glad you could make it." He has only been professional with me and compassionate when I have struggled. Interesting that the 2 reviews that seemed particularly harsh had to do with something about what attorney said or other people the reviewer talked to? I get it if this guy is not for you, but may be more to it? I am grateful for what he has done for me.

Excellent doctor. Compassionate but firm. Stays up to date within his field and knows what to do if the current meds are not improving your situation. Professional but sincerely friendly and caring.

This MD should get out of his business!! He has forgotten his oath...esp due no harm !! I truely narrowly avoided suicide multiple times as a result of his his ability to make you feel unworthy of his time or efforts !! Instead of heping you talk about all the things you need a psychiatrist for he spoke angerly at me for finding it hard to talk. His impatience with whatever else was happening in his life spilled though on me. I would feel scared of our next appointments & even more horrible about myself than I I already felt before starting to see him. He changed meds on me everytiime I saw him. I never got use to one & usually more than one new medication before I was off those & on to more medications. My body & mind were being tortured !! He has apparently lost his way in this no doubt challenging field of medicine. He could use some help for himself. I talked to many other people & professionals who share my feelings about him ......very honestly !
